        February 29, 2008 (Leap Day)
Figures the only day that I really have time to spend updating here is...of course a day that doesn't exist except for every four years. But, happy leap day to those of you who are reading this on the day! Guess what???? LOTS OF INFO!!! First off - I updated the chapters for TriMax 12, it was released earlier this month if you hadn't bought it already.
Next up - news of the Trigun Movie!! It was apparently released on the Trigun Maximum #14 dust cover, but check out the news online here: Anime News Network Apparently something to do with "Vash vs. Wolfwood?!" which...to me, is kinda strange and yet kinda awesome because heck, I love them both and want to see them both on the BIG screen!
Of course, that brings us right back to Trigun Maximum #14 being released in Japan just two days ago! I've got mine on order right now - of course, it probably means I'll be getting it a bit late since I also ordered another book from Japan that I've been wanting nearly as long - but when I get it I'l let you know what information I might have! It's so exciting - so much Trigun to work with lately! Oh - did anyone notice they were replaying the series on Cartoon Network? It was at an extremely crappy time-slot unfortunately, but I was wondering if anyone caught it? Any new fans made from it? Interested in learning more about the series and the manga maybe? Just curious!!
Last bit of information I've got is that Dwellin and I have started up writing Dark Convergence again! Whoot! We posted a new chapter recently and I just finished writing another new chapter a few days ago. I've got one more to write in the next few weeks and then things should start rolling again on a more regular basis. I'm getting excited, it's something that we've been wanting to finish for some time now.
I'm going to finish this off with a call for Trigun artwork and cosplay photos! Calling all fans - now is your chance to send me stuff again so that this website doesn't get all cob-webby again like it has been the last few months! Don't let us forget our Trigun roots!! Drop me an email if you do Trigun fanfiction, art, or have a website of your own - I'd love to post links, pictures, colorations, comics, etc. Just drop me a line!! And until then or when I have more information... adieu!

        December 31, 2007
Happy New Year everyone!!! (Well, almost - in 4 hours anyway!) I hope you all have a great new year! Many blessings and great luck on this upcoming year. ^_^ Well, besides my greetings to you for whatever holidays you might have celebrated (or about to) I thought I'd also give you the news that Shonengahosha has announced the dates for the the LAST release of Trigun - Feburary 27, 2008. Now... what's weird is that it says #15 on their site, but since there's no 14... I'm just saying they probably mis-typed. But - YAY!! The last Trigun! When I get a link to the final cover art I'll let you know (or Angel of Death might find it and post it on the forum since he's online more than I am lately.) But we'll make sure to keep you updated. I'm excited to see how the end plays out in the final version, to see if things change any or wording or if there's any little final extras from Nightow-san.
Meanwhile we'll be getting our brand new English versions this upcoming January - only a few weeks away! Whoot!! Too bad it hadn't come out closer to Christmas and we all could have put it on our list! Ah well - at least we'll have something to spend gift cards on (at least I got some bookstore gift cards this year heh heh!). I sure hope everyone has a great new year - with the new books coming out in Japan that means it'll be that much closer for us to get our hands on the translated versions - I sure hope you're all looking forward to it! And *crossing fingers* Everyone was thinking that maybe this will be the year that information on the movie will be coming - so keep an eye out for that as well - any little tidbit of information, make sure you drop me a line so I can share the information!! ^_^ And I'll see you in the new year!

        December 4, 2007
I really didn't think it would take me so long to get up the chapter titles - although, I'll admit I've had them translated for a little while - probably not the most accurate kanji translation, there's sooooooo many different readings to some of these things - but I'll update them 'officially' once the books come out in English. But now you've got your titles for Trigun Maximum 13 if you're interested in it! ^_^
I'm still looking for new fan art!! Anyone still doing Trigun out there *hears crickets* Well, I guess the manga series IS over...and the anime has kinda been over for 10 years (curse Cartoon Network for not putting it back on like they did Cowboy Bebop!!!) But if anyone watches the series and decides they want to do some fan art, don't forget you can send it to me to be posted! I've got to get back to doing some fan fiction or something, it's sorta sad how quiet the forum and this website has become since Trigun ended - but at the same time, it HASN'T...since the English version hasn't come out yet. Well, if you've got pictures of Nightow, got rare artwork (did you look at animecentral.org? They're new mascot is drawn by Nightow!!) to share - then please let me know, I'd like to keep updating this site with new stuff - since this site has always been about YOU - the fan - I'd love to see what YOU have - whether it's colored pages or artwork or even short stories or blogs - let me know!! Ricki.

        November 15, 2007
Only took me about...what, 9 days to get a hold of the newest Trigun Maximum? *GRINS* Must be a new record for me! WHOOT! Hee hee - I've updated some information in the YKO pages to show where the new chapters end - I haven't translated the Kanji in half the chapter titles, those will come soon, I've run out of time after going through looking at the differences between YKO and the finished product. For more specific details, see my forum. However, the biggest change was that #93/94 were combined to make one chapter to make TM#13 a whopping 270+ pages - it's as big as TM#11! ^_~
And of course I know you're all wondering what the under cover is... A Pirates of the Caribbean parody! Whoot! Vash makes a very interesting Jack Sparrow! Heh heh heh. Well - you'll have to wait to see it, because that's one thing I don't scan...heh. Well, as for any scans of Nightow's pages or pages that have been altered, it'll probably be awhile. I'm finally moving to a 'real' computer again - after my laptop declared it's tiny little 7GB harddrive was full (yes, can you imagine, I've been running with 7GBs??) I decided it was finally time to get a new computer. Of course - that means getting a new computer desk, new chair, etc (desk and computer are here, new chair, new keyboard are purchases I still need to make...). So, it'll be a little while before I get the scanner hooked up and running again.
For those of you who would like your own Japanese copy of Trigun Maximum #13, please go to Sasugabooks.com, and order it from them. For USA, the book costs about $15 and that included shipping. ^_^ No...and I don't work for them, I'm just plugging them because they're my favorite bookstore and they tend to show up at conventions quite often (like Ohayocon if you're headed there in January they might just have it!) Ah...now I must go...I've gotta get ready for a party...blarg - I didn't even invite anyone, that'll tell you how social I am... *PFFTTTTT*

        November 6, 2007
Shonengahosha has finally released the due date for Trigun Maximum #13!! November 9th!! YAAAAYYYY!!! Be sure that I'll be trying to get my copy ASAP. ^_^ Angel of Death just placed the cover art up on the forum and he's also listed a few places online where you could preorder your very own copy. I, myself, am looking into getting it shipped from an American source... but we'll see how that goes! I can't wait!! New Trigun stuff - yaaaaaaay!
And look! Livio and Vash on the cover! "Double Duel" So exciting. I'm really looking forward to this book, okay, well, I was hoping that maybe both 13 & 14 would come out at the same time....but maybe that was just whistful thinking. However, it's pretty cool to see Livio on a cover, I know a lot of people were debating, would it be Knives or Legato or Vash or who? So at least our Double Fang has finally gotten himself a cover. ^_^

        October 28, 2007
Goodness gracious, it's been OVER a month since I've updated!!! *clutches head* I can't believe there's been absolutely no Trigun news in all of this time!! I just sorta wanna scream! I guess I was waiting to see if CN would put Trigun back on after they replayed Cowboy Bebop this last month, which is pretty exciting in itself. I was just thinking about the Trigun anime last night when at a Halloween party where they were showing AMVs and one with Trigun just happened to be in there. Of course, I'm not quite sure which song was playing because they had another radio playing over the TV (don't think the TV had any sound on at all really). I've also been waiting to see if they'd finally release the dates for the Japanese release dates for Trigun Maximum 13/14...which I still haven't found. Sorta saddening, but then again, they haven't released info for Hellsing either, and they both tend to turn up together - so here's to hoping, at least closer to the end of the month... Maybe that's why I thought I'd post today just to see if there's been any word out there with you guys? Anyone have something interesting to add to this site? Any pictures, videos, AMVs or stories?? Colored pages - anything? I'd like to keep this site updated since of course I finally bought the good name... *hint hint* Heh heh heh *she laughes nervously* Dumb Nightow, finishing the series so abruptly! *chuckles* Anyway - I'll keep looking out on the wonderful web to see if there's any more news - and if you stumble upon anything, please let me know!!

        September 9, 2007
Updated!! Nightow's Interview now has a few word-for-word extracts from Anime Central's Trigun panel! Cat_Vader gave me this link: Nightow at Acen - for some videos of the actual panel. Watch them or you can see all of the translations on Nightow's interview page (with a few errors since the translator stumbled here and there, I tried to clarify without 'ums' and 'ahs'.) I want to give a sincere and VERY warm thanks to Cat_Vader for supplying us new info on Nightow's interview!! Thank you!!!

        September 6, 2007
News!! Of course, many of you have already read on my forum that Dark Horse finally released the date for TriMax #12 - which (providing they don't change it) will be January 16, 2008. Yes... I know...a long wait, but at least we finally have a date to look forward to!!
If you can use mirc, I got an email today about gotlurk.net which apparently also hosts a TriMax scanlation...I haven't a clue if it's actually Max7's or something else...but if you need your fix and know how to get it, I said I'd post the link. ^_^
In other news, I did find an interesting link to someone's LiveJournal that had pictures of Nightow during the CNAnime (Canada) convention (it's posted on my forum under conventions) - just a couple, but dare I say I think he's losing weight?? Hmmm... Hope he's eating well! I wonder if Nightow will finally go back to Japan and finish out the new books... hmmmmmm. I sure hope so! I know we're all dying to see them!! Hee hee. Hey, if anyone else has some interesting news about Nightow or Trigun or convention related stuff, please send it to me! Or post it on the forum, because we'd love to hear from you!! I'm also open to suggestions to making this site better - have some artwork or a short story you'd like to have posted? Let me know! Also...I LOVE colored scans!!! Anyone have any they would like to share??? I'm still looking for old pictures of Trigun too - thinking about setting up a page (when I have time...if that ever happens!) that has more old pictures from our favorite master of manga... so if you've found some old thing on EBay you've got a fairly good picture of... an old calendar or some artwork that Nightow did - let me know and maybe I can make a page of a bunch of interesting old pieces you can't find anywhere else!! And with that...I shall bid you adieu for now!

        August 26, 2007
Yeah, I know, it's almost been a month and I haven't updated recently at all! I'm afraid I haven't found any new information. My YKOs stopped coming last month and next month still has no information on the release of Trigun Max 13 or 14. However, I did find a link to a Nightow FAN in Japan so the link is on the main page - that website was updated back in May - but they have mention of 13/14, just no release dates, but I have a feeling that page might be a site to watch since they ARE Japanese and might get the information sooner. ^_~
So, life in Trigun land has died down - the discussions are still going on whether or not someone in particular died or not (I'll try not to say who...it's still up for discussion and I know some people are still holding out for English versions) - but the forums are hot-to-trot discussing it still! Other people are debating on writing continuations via fanfiction - if anyone is interested in sharing, let me know! Some more fanart is still going on and of course the ever-present cosplay will never die! The latest news on Nightow was he was expected at a convention in Canada this month earlier on, not sure whether anyone attended that, I didn't hear anything about it. Hmmm... and that, I guess is that - if anyone has information about Trigun they'd like to share, please let me know by email or forum! I'll post it right away. I can search Japanese/English sites but I know I'm always missing something! So if you stumble across some information, let me know! ^_^       Thanks for stopping by, hope to have some information or updates soon! ~*Love and Peace*~

        July 31, 2007
At LONG last...I Finally posted the Interview! (bows in apology) It's been a LONG time coming...mainly because it seems like I never have free time and when I do...something like the newest Harry Potter book comes out...and sorta sucks my time away... *blushes* But anyway, now that I'm done reading the Deathly Hollows...it's back to keeping this website updated! And yes, there ARE pictures and I've finally gotten up some of the really awesome responses from Nightow at Anime Central. I WISH I'd had a notepad with me to have written down ALL of the answers (stupid registration lines...!!!) But if YOU were there, and I know a few people who were, please jot me a note if you had a question answered by Nightow and then I can post that as well, I'd really like to make sure I don't leave anything out!!
In other news...I wanna make a formal apology because I screwed up translating the final chapter of Trigun...it's 6 months later, not 10 years... *bows* I'm going to be updating THAT page here shortly!! The page will not to be forgotten however, I'll keep updating it as the new books are released for title information and whatnot as it comes available. ^_^ Do you all like the new home without the annoying Geocities ads?? ^_^
After last time's post, I did a few more changes to the website, did you spot them? Most of the links were corrected now (because you couldn't get to most of the fanfiction...) and I think that most of the "HOME" buttons will send you back to Trigunplanet now. I'm HOPING to get the remainder of them updated soon...Yeah, I keep saying that but I really do mean it...plus I'd like to get a new counter going as well, and perhaps an updated guestbook too! So keep an eye out for more new things coming. As usual I always have more on my plate than time to 'eat' it all... but it's an effort I promise to keep working on! Thank you for stopping in today, I hope you enjoy the new interview and pictures!!

        July 23, 2007
Here's a bit of news that I know every Trigun fan has been waiting for - the release of Trigun Maximum #12... I wish it were better news, but after emailing Dark Horse, I received a letter in reply saying that even though they do not have any dates set in stone, they are hoping to get it released some time this upcoming winter (!!) like say January 2008 or so. Then he went on to say that we'll have to keep checking online (like I think we've all been doing!) for any updates on the topic. If you want to see the exact letter he sent me - go to the forum under Otaku Ramblings to see it (I copied it exactly up there).
In other news, Otakon is now completed for yet another year, and apparently there was another Trigun photo shoot - but since I wasn't there I don't have access to it *sob*. There will undoubtedly be pictures somewhere online so look for them and send me the link and I'll post it on the front page! ^_^ Hopefully everyone who went had a great time!!
Still no word on when Max7 is getting the last chapter up...but oh well, at least my website is slowly falling into place again - I'll probably be working on it more this week (since I'm taking a vacation - whoot!) So don't be afraid to check back once in awhile to see if anything has changed. ^_^ Thanks for stopping by today for the news!

        July 16, 2007
I just realized that if you don't have your text size set on 'smaller' the front page updates won't all fit in that neat little box... *sigh* One problem or another I keep coming up to. Today I put all of the fanart from Geocities over to the new account so that should all be working correctly now, as well as I tried fixing links. If anything still does not work on that page, please let me know! Other than that for the most part I have now fixed all of the 'home' links to go back to the new home page - all but Susan's links and anything in the "milly_vash" prefix of Geocities - those will be next.
In the meantime I have sent off some various letters to Dark Horse to find out information on Trigun Maximum #12, especially since Hellsing #8 was released at the same time and that is already released in English! So I'll let you know on the front page as soon as that information comes available to me... until then I hope you're enjoying the new digs! Oh - and thanks for the comments in my guestbook, hopefully I'll be able to get a new one going of that soon!

        June 26, 2007
If you haven't noticed already...Trigun Planet is now up and running!! Of course, there's still quite a few links broken and most of them still return you to the geocities page - so if you run into trouble, please just use your 'back' button to return to Trigunplanet.com. ^_^ I'm working slowly through each and every page as I go, trying to take down the old stuff from the geocities sites (which still have those painful advertisements). So far, I've gotten through the "Trigun Manga & Anime" section, so anything past that point I can't promise anything...at least for now.
I have made quite a few changes on the main page as you may have noticed! Some are requests from YOU! Others I've thought maybe I'd work on some new ideas, like Kuronekosama's Specials, which are suggestions by YOU! You have a site you'd like to share? Or a link to a picture/story/or something else? Email it to me, or post it on my forum (I'm going to start an area under my Ramblings Area) and once a week or so I'll update with the best of the batch!
Another thing that has changed is that this site will be best viewed 1024x768 - in the past I had it at 800x600, but from the stats on geocities, most of you have larger screens now, so I've changed it. Don't worry, you can still see it all on a smaller screen - the only thing that will really get cut off is the title with Vash on the right - so no worries, I'm still thinking about the few of you with older computers...and I'm still going to keep the main page mostly text-based for the few who still have dialup!! (Don't worry, I feel your pain even though I have high-speed now!)
What else is changing? Many of the pages will be slowly moved to the new site, so if you had favorites bookmarked, watch from time to time - I probably didn't delete them, they've probably moved and I may be in the middle of moving stuff! I do have a request, and I may put this up on the forum as well - please PLEASE let me know as I go down the line if you do see broken links - the only picture links should be in the older Otaku Ramblings (many of those I've already taken out if possible) - and if you notice any of my links on the main page do not work any more, let me know that too so I can keep updated!! This site works with YOUR help! So I'd really appreciate any short letters or posts on the forum to keep me in line! (And don't worry, you don't have to sign in on the forum if you want to stay anonymous - it's open to Guests as well!)
Last little bit of news is that there's a link on the forum to the Raws for the last chapter of Trigun Maximum (unless you don't like spoilers) - I've also started slowly translating some of it since Max7 has taken MONTHS to post it.... *grumbles* Plus, I've moved all of the YKO pages so no more icky-poo ads - YAY!!!! I hope you enjoy!! I'll post more as I go!

        June 14, 2007
Woah! I really didn't mean for it to go two weeks between updates! Whoops! And look!! I missed this site's FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!! 32,000 visitors in FOUR years!! That's fantastic! (At least for a Geocities site!! ^_~) I wanted to thank everyone so very much for all of emails, comments, posts and all of the pictures and drawings and colorations that has helped this site become the biggest English Trigun-website!! ^_^ It's all because of you that it's had such a great run these four years and I plan to keep it going for another few at least! Thank you so much!!
As for the lack of updates, I've been pretty busy working, all of that fun stuff. And inbetween there was my birthday - I got something really terrific too!! "The Manga Start-Up Guide: How to Pen & Ink" - it's produced in English by DMP, and of course the moment you see the cover you'll understand why I got it from Susan-chan, and that's because Vash is on the cover!! I'm sure some of you have seen it on the web, I'm sure some of you already have it...of course I knew about it ages ago (I think I may have even posted a link to it over a year ago) however, since it just never seemed to be available anywhere I thought it was one of those projects they started and never finished (like those Trigun figures...) Anyway, it's a terrific book, has some really nice pieces by Nightow as well as a short little interview, what pens he uses (although in the panel at ACen, which I'm still planning on posting...I promise...) he said the last two books were completely drawn on the computer, no pencil/inking process needed. Pretty nifty, ne? But it's still cool to see how he did it before the computer - and of course there's other artists and a 4-week pen training I want to try out one of these days too! Oh - and if you want to see what it all looks like, there are some scans on Chilly's Forum (see my front page in the links section for the link) - you'll have to sign onto her forum, but she's got some cool rare scans I don't even have!! Oh and Thank you Susan-chan for the book!!
Meanwhile, you may have (or maybe not) noticed that the Blackestocean links are all gone. If you find a page that still links to it please let me know, I think I got them all but sometimes things get hidden with as many pages as I have to deal with!! The Blackestocean site served me well for a year - but now I have Trigunplanet! So maybe a few of you have noticed that links (such as this page) are now linked to my new site. ^_^ There are some things I may still keep on Geocities, like the old Otaku Ramblings... and other pages here and there, but I'm trying my best to get the majority of things over here...and soon the Index page will transfer which will take care of those annoying adds once in for all. Only problem...I need to get a new counter, I love the one I have now because I love to track the progress of how many of you visit a month. ^_^
In other news...well, there really isn't all that much news I'm afraid. I haven't found any new information on releases, the YKO for August came on Monday this week and I didn't see any release information...I have this strange inkling it won't be out until the fall like in past years - but maybe then they'll do a double release and then release it with the next Hellsing as well...and as for Max7 releasing the final chapter...still no word on that either, although I might see one of the admins this weekend to ask him in person. *shrugs* In this time I really could have done it... *sigh* I wish I weren't so busy all the time now - really bums a person out!! But I'll survive... I guess I'm just not looking forward to continuing moving everything...so much stuff!!! I hope you all like it! (Oh and a shout out to Joshua for the email!!)

        June 1, 2007
Howdy howdy everyone! The changes are slow in coming I'm afraid, I'm trying to decide whether to just move everything over as is with a few changes, or remake the webpage all together. If that's the case...I'm in dire need of a webpage editor program (I've been writing these by hand since 2004, fyi ^_~) But anyway, slowly but surely you'll start seeing some changes and once I get all of the pages switched over there'll be a massive shift to the new website! Which, if you haven't found it yet, will be: Trigunplanet.com!!
I'm also going to post the Nightow information and pictures (although if you follow the links on the main page to my cosplay.com account, there's a few there - there's also a few on my MySpace account (under...of course, www.myspace.com/milly_t). Hopefully once I get the not so fun stuff out of the way, the fun stuff will be coming faster... cross your fingers, I've been a busy little bee the last few weeks!
Meanwhile, I have been keeping tabs in the online world for any information dealing with our beloved subject. Even though Nightow himself said the movie is in the works (or pre-production actually) I have yet to get a confirmation on Madhouse...so I'm still looking for that. There's no word on the releases of Trigun Maximum #13 & 14 on the Shonengahosha website yet either, but in the past word has appeared in the YKO issues the month before it is posted online. So, I've got two more months before my subscription runs out so I'll continue checking. (Which reminds me, Nightow mentioned if he does do another series - it will probably be a children's manga *gasp*, and thus I decided not to renew the YKO). There's also no news about Dark Horses' release of #12, probably because they're waiting for Japan to release the next ones... maybe. No new toys or figure releases either. *sigh* And Max7 is still dragging its feet on the release of the final chapter...what is the deal? Is June just not a good time for Trigun?? I'm not quite sure... ah well.
So, in conclusion *chuckles* - check out my forum. I did post some new art up there, there's been a few more new posters as well recently too. It's summer now (or very nearly so) - so hopefully you'll all have time to go check out other fans and converse a bit - don't be shy!! We'd like to hear from you!! Oh yeah...we'll also be having some new websites added to the links area soon, so keep an eye out for that!! Love & Peace - Ricki

        May 21, 2007
You might, over the next few weeks, notice some changes going on! As I've mentioned before, I'm losing the Blackestocean site, and gaining a brand new, awesome, totally tubular (who says THAT?) site that's going to have some of you going, "why didn't you do this AGES ago??" Well - some of the more astute vistors will figure out what the name of the site is right away... but I'm not posting it right away because right now there's nothing but a fairly ugly place holder and what's the point of wasting your time clicking a link to get to something ugly??? ^_~
However, with the new website there's going to be a ton of new changes. For one, you might notice that Mabel's artwork is gone...kaput...toodles. My own early artwork is probably going to go the way of the dinosaur as well - unless (and this is a big UNLESS) someone emails me to put it up again. There's just a ton of files in both that I didn't feel like moving over at present and since neither page has been updated in like two years...I decided it was a safe dump. I do have it all in safe storage so perhaps at a later date I'll go ahead and add it back. However...with the old being tossed, some new things are going to start appearing. For one, Meesh is getting her own page for cool arts (she already has a DeviantART account, but I wanted to show off some of her cool Trigun stuff). There will be a new logo-mascot drawing of some sort eventually... I'm hoping to get away from using so much copyrighted art and getting some pretty new stuff from yours truly and other fans up as the theme. No worries, I'll still have plenty of cool Nightow and anime artwork, so don't worry there - plus I'm still VERY willing to put up new CGI work. Now that there's so many Max7 scans out there, anyone feel like coloring???
Keep checking back - please, if you notice any links broken (that aren't on the old Otaku pages which I expect will be VERY broken soon) - let me know! It might be on a page I didn't realize something was linked to and I want this new site to be as clean and working smoothly as possible!! Also, there will be plenty of new updates so keep on coming, hopefully this will be a very smooth transition for all of us! ^_^

        May 14, 2007
Hello EVERYONE!!! Boy do I have news for everyone!! After Anime Central this weekend, and getting to meet Nightow myself now - he's awesome! Oh gosh, there's just so much news I have to tell everyone, from the Trigun Panel to information about the movie - yes, YES there IS going to be a movie!! Nightow himself confirmed that it is in the final stages before Pre-Production (basically they're still getting the script ready) but he was reluctant to speak about it any more because it's still too early. But yes, there will be a movie. ^_^ Oh and there's so much more that I have to tell you all about!
First off, there will be pictures, YES, I did get my picture taken with Nightow-san, as you can see! ^_^ Of course signatures, and a few questions were asked of Nightow, like what's he going to do next? Unfortunately, with the size of the Panel, and the sheer fact that we were sitting next to someone who HATED spoilers...I didn't get to go too in-depth with asking questions like 'is Knives dead?' because I think I would have gotten killed by Zazie the Beast (boy was she scary when I almost spoiled something!) O_O Eeep! Plus, there were a lot of people who had never read the manga at all and asked not so pertinent questions like "What's with the donut thing?" But apparently Nightow DOES like donuts, "Donuts suki desu!" and was especially curious about "Krispie Kremes". Heh heh heh. But I digress...there's even more coming because we also had a Trigun photo shoot on Saturday, and even though Nightow himself couldn't be there, we did get a few photos of him with some of the best cosplayers he had ever seen - and actually dug through his own bags for his camera when he saw them! (Including such names as Stripper Vash, Voltz, Meesh and myself!)
I want to get as much information up online as I possibly can at one time - so look for a massive load in the next few days. ^_^ Yes yes, lots of news! I do have to send out a hello to Gail, who I met in the autograph line - (Hiii!) and to Zazie, I still owe you pictures, look for an email soon. I'm not sure if I'm going to have a full page of cosplay on this site, but most likely I will - so keep your peepers pealed. ^_^ Of course I will have the interview (as far as I can relay, my apologies I was unable to take notes so some of it, unfortunately, will be from memory) posted as soon as I possibly can. Also - hello to all of the other cosplayers I might have met this weekend - and stay in touch!!! I will see you all soon, so keep checking in this week for more Anime Central Nightow info!!

Konnichi wa everyone!! Beautiful day, isn't it? I'm in the 'happy because I had a day off and went shopping mood' so in return, for those of you who have not downloaded Ch. 101 from Max7, I now have the translations up. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same thing for Ch. 102 eventually - however, with my inability to scan the chapter, I believe it took even longer for them to get the scans needed to translate. (oi vey, my apologies!)
In other news, I was just informed that I'll be losing the Blackestocean name come October, so if you have any links bookmarked there, be warned, they'll be moving! I'm not exceedingly happy about it, but I was warned with plenty of time in advance and it's probably about time that I got my own domain anyway... so keep an eye out, there might be just a quick changing of links in the next few months. ....What does that mean for this site, you may ask? Well, I want to keep a record of the past YKO issues as long as I possibly can - so don't worry, I'm not planning on taking this site down any time soon! Nor am I going to just allow this website to fall to cobwebs any time soon even though Trigun Maximum is ended. For one - the final books have not been released in Japan yet. For two - it will be even longer before they are released in English. And for three - there's still that rumored movie I would like to report! Plus, in more recent events, Nightow himself will be coming to the Chicago next weekend (11th-13th) and of COURSE I'm going! So hopefully there will be pictures and plenty of interview notes to share. I guess I need to work on my shorthand... *chuckles*
That reminds me, I haven't posted it here, although I was going to - however, Mi-chan already posted her pictures of her and Nightow online...so check them out. Unfortunately I was told that HE asked HER more questions when they sat at dinner together than the other way around! *chuckles* So we didn't have much of an advanced preview!! However, I will do everything in my power to get you the information you need.... that reminds me - if ANYONE has any questions they'd specifically wish to ask Nightow - email me! If we only get one question a piece, I think I'm asking what his next project is going to be - however, if you all have questions, let me know and maybe I'll plant some people in the audience with me to ask them. ^_^ Or at least make sure I listen very closely when those questions get answered (if someone else asks them) so I can post them on my site! So drop me a line, I'll be able to receive emails up to May 10th.
Well, I hope you all are having a beautiful summer - I hope to be back with some new stuff soon - and hope to hear from you!!

        April 20, 2007
Hello everybuddy!!! Sorry it's been so long since my last update, a whole lot has been happening! Firstly, I've moved! (Not online as you can see...although that actually might happen in the future) With moving there's been just tons going on. For one, packing and moving and getting settled into my new life, since it wasn't just a move with family but a moving OUT from family and in a whole new state! Also it's adjusting to a brand new computer (well, not NEW, but I rarely used this one for my online stuff) - new internet connection, and I have to set up everything again to work... plus I've lost my scanner so it might be a little while before I get to putting up pictures again. *sob* I'm already itching to put up and color the last chapter...but alas, no luck there yet, we have to get the scanner back from the guy my b/f loaned it to.
Meanwhile... I will see if I can't get Ch. 101's translations up, plus I'm looking forward to opening up my webpage to more fanart and colorations! Plus perhaps getting back to the fanfiction side of things again now that the series is over and we have so much to play with!! Anyway, I hope you are all doing great! Drop me a line at the forum - check out the webpage - drop me an email/aim or whatever you like and I hope to be back on here soon with updates on when Trigun Maximum #13 and #14 will be released in Japan! Because...when Nightow gets done with them we might have new things to look forward to - new covers at least! *grins* See you soon!

        April 7, 2007
Ah!! I'm not supposed to spoil.... oops. But I HAD to post this picture because...well just BECAUSE! It's the greatest ending that I could have ever wished for!! But... I promised not to spoil...so you'll just have to read the YKO review if you WANT a spoiler! Otherwise just look at the pretty Vash...yes...look at him...he's sooo pretty! ^_~ Enjoy!!

(Okay..but I have so much free space below here that I'll ramble in BLACK... So highlight below this sentence if you want to read spoilers. ^_~
Oh my gosh this was the best ending I could have ever asked for! All of the beautiful funnyness that I grew to love in the beginning! Vash being chased once again by bounty hunters and the craziness of more than one group going after him and Meryl and Milly showing up in the midst with cameras and microphone capes! And it's just all so happy - the plants are going to be okay, all of the favorite people that Vash left behind were still alive - and Livio is just so adorably awesome!! Oh my gosh you have no idea how cute Vash is with his black hair down around his eyes! *SQUEEE* The fangirl in me is just bouncing around everywhere. This is like the best way to end the series like EVER!!!
And I hope everyone else likes the ending as much as I do. The end. *grins* Oh...don't worry, it's going to be awhile before this website will go into cob-web land...we've still got a few years before it's all released in English and there's stil the possible movie to look forward to!! ^_^ Ta ta for now!

        March 18, 2007
Everyone keeps asking for no spoilers...what's WITH that? Whatcha doing online on sites that are famous for spoilers if you don't want any? *chuckles* Anyway - I'm giving this little spoiler, mainly because, well, it's not the last chapter yet, but Wolfwood makes a short appearance (sorry, I lost the picture during the move). I've promised not to put spoilers on this page for the final chapter... But ah well, I was also requested for pictures of Nick - so here's one. ^_^ Probably the last time you'll see him in the manga I'd imagine.
In other news... YASUHIRO NIGHTOW IS COMING TO ANIME CENTRAL!!! May 11-13th. It was just announced, although a few people who visit this site already knew two weeks ago *grumbles*. I guess... that means I have no choice but to go also. XD Also means a lot of the other people who were grumbling about Nightow not coming to the East Coast will have their prayers answered. Heh heh heh. There are already a few plans for Trigun groups, a photo shoot on Saturday, and of course this will the be the ultimate Trigun Maximum blow-out party!! *GRINS* Whoot! So much great news... so are YOU coming???

        March 13, 2007
Technically, I think it's Tuesday already. *chuckles* Silly time change being early and all. Crazy crazy. But anyway - because I've realized I have a TON of stuff that needs to go up and poor Pu has been waiting for me to put up that colored scan of hers (not to mention the ones from Meesh that need to go up here too...oi vey) I got Pu's up now! Yay! It's sorta perfect for my hopes that Meryl and Vash will get together someday...still, yes, that's not much of a spoiler is it? ^_~ However I've got that one small image from this new chapter on the front page - so I hope everyone forgives me if they think it's a spoiler! Ah well, I wanted to color, it's not a great job, I was rushing... >_<; But I like it!
In other news, of a more personal matter - I'm going to be moving! Not right away, but soon enough, so when I do a finally notice that I'm moving, it might be a short time before I'll be up and back here. I'm just hoping I remember to take all of my important files with me! ^^; But anyway, things are getting exciting, I'm going to be moving in with Mike, he got a new job and I need to work on getting a transfer on mine, I've finally sprung the news to my bosses (well, all but one) and you guys know before some of my other friends! Heh heh heh. I may need your help getting email addresses and websites again, so keep your eyes peeled if I send out a distress plea to get things back in order! ^_^; I've been using my Mom's computer, and now I'll be stuck to my laptop... so we'll see. Okay then, it'll be awhile, probably after the next YKO comes out (yes, I'm relieved too) - and there will be scans, don't worry about that! ^_^ Talk to you all soon!

        March 9, 2007
New chapter new chapter new chapter... .SECOND TO LAST CHAPTER!!!! The Pentultimate (spelling sucks..) chapter... and I think I'll leave it up to you whether you want to read the spoilers on the summaries page. I was asked awhile ago not to spoil it on here. However, on my forum I'll spoil it AND talk about it, so it's your choice where to go. Just know, there's only one more chapter left next month - and I WILL have scans of it available on my page. ^_^ This one...you'll have to wait for Max7. Anyway - enjoy reading! This is really a great chapter!

        March 2, 2007
With my computer connection acting up (perhaps because it's a windy day) I have to make this update pretty short. Trigun Maximum Ch. 101 is out in Japan already! Whoot!! But I have to wait until probably next week to get it - but keep an eye on Max7's forum and perhaps mine as well for more details. Puchiko gets hers before me, so she'll probably have spoilers a few days before I do! ^_^ If you know, you're into that sort of thing *wink wink*. Other than that, still no news out there yet on the movie (no word on Madhouse.co.jp yet) nor is there anything about those figures they were supposed to have come out with... >_> Or when Dark Horse will be releasing TM12. But I'll get you the information as soon as it comes to me!! Until then - read Dark Convergence, Ch. 17. Susan-chan and I just put it up, and Ch. 18 will be up soon as well (this time we mean it!).

        February 18, 2007
Chapter 100's translation is up! I reworded some things from the Max7, but that was only because I liked how I'd originally written them myself. Some...I screwed up on...because I was mistaking kanji, so my apologies! Sumimasen!
Anyway, many of you have joined my forum already - and thank you! I'm so glad to meet some of you at last! Feel free to add whatever pictures and stories - if you'd like to start RPing, go ahead and start it in the fanfiction section...if you want to post links to your own fanfiction that is elsewhere, feel free! Plug yourself, your deviantART accounts, your fanpages, whatever you might have out there! I want to be able to see it all! So go ahead and have fun with it! You've been reading about my life - now it's my turn to see what all you've got in your lives, what brought you to Trigun, what keeps you coming back, what you like, what inspires you, what you've done that was inspired! ^_^ And yes...you don't even have to sign in to post stuff. I'd LIKE it if you did, but for those of you who choose to remain anonymous, go ahead. Of course...I have to say that if anyone starts posting anonymous stuff that isn't appropriate, then I'll have to block it...but I'm pretty darn sure that you're all really great people and will follow the rules. ^_^
I'll probably be updating this particular ramblings a bit less often than the forum - however, any time I make major changes to the webpage, I'll still do my normal rambling (like today) but if you want more regular comments by yours truly (or you worry about the fact that I've been away for over a week...) check there, and you'll probably see I've been around. ^_^ I'm around for you fans, since Nightow doesn't update his site, this is all I can do to help his fans - myself included. *grins* See you soon!

        February 11, 2007
Chapter 100 Summary is UP! For some of you who have already signed onto my little forum, you would have seen it there a day earlier. ^_~ Depending on time constraints, I may just place them there ahead of time, (just easier to write quickly without having to edit for html) - but anyway, I will be back with full translations later on, there's a few this time around, my apologies for not getting them completely accurate - it was 1am in the morning and I was going as quickly as I could. ^_^
I've had some great questions this week about various things - so in keeping with the questions, I'm going to be updating a few of my older pages. Namely the 'manga vs anime' page, which is VASTLY outdated... my apologies, I've never re-read them since they were officially translated! So if anyone else notices flaws, let me know so I can fix them! I've got a terrific CGI page from Puchiko I need to put up. A brand new drawing from Susan-chan I haven't gotten up - nor the one from Meesh either! So plenty to go up over this next week. Keep your eyes pealed for even more changes. (I hope!)

        February 9, 2007
Where in the world did January go?? I mean...seriously...it's nearly been a MONTH since I updated?? I think I've been in the twilight zone or something. I've kept in touch with a few of you through email and AIM (Whatcher R), but for the rest of you - my apologies! I even found out my guestbook wasn't working... Oi vey. Anyway, Chapters 98 & 99 translations are now up thanks to Molokidan. Chapter 100's summary should be coming this weekend, Puchiko has her copy and she gets it only a few days before me (usually). YAY! It's NOT the end! I was asked to keep spoilers in my ramblings here to a minimum - but until the very end... I'll keep rambling. *chuckles*
In other news, I finally got Trigun Maximum #11 - boy did they screw up on some of the translations! I mean... MILLY says to MERYL... "Milly?" Jeez - it says "Sempai?" in the original Japanese! How can you screw that up? And other parts are just plain awkward. *sigh* I guess I'm just picky now because I've been reading Max7's translations and playing around with my own so long! Oh yes - there is one thing I've changed on my YKO page - I did update the chapter names, however, I decided I'm never going to update the changes between the Tankoubons (books) from the YKO chapters - why? Because, someday in the future you can look back on the YKO pages and see the differences that may have occurred between them. I enjoyed knowing that in Sumire's site there were missing pages between YKO and the copy I hold - so I'm leaving that for you to enjoy as well.
In other news, Geneon is still releasing cool Trigun stuff. This year's newest entries are three baseball caps. (Which I found at my local FYE) One, your standard 'trucker' type with a picture of Vash sorta going "diablo" printed on the front. The second is an even cooler bronze plate on a black hat that says "Trigun". The third is actually Gungrave, but I thought I'd point that out since if you haven't gotten the "Gungrave Archives" by Dark Horse - you should - there's some really awesome translated interviews from Nightow in there! Plus tons of his original sketches from that series (now only if they'd translate the Trigun art books!!)
Ah yes - and Happy Valentine's Day!! A wee bit early, yes. ^_^
Stay tuned - in a few days Chapter 100 will be revealed!! (Unless of course you've read Puchiko's spoilers on Max7's forum) And hopefully... I'll have my own forum up soon so I can get rid of that stupid guestbook that never worked correctly in the first place. You'll have to sign in, but there's no permissions needed to become a member and you can leave whatever notes, questions, problems, etc about my site that you wish - plus post your own links, pictures, or whatever!! ^_^ Oh...it's not in its final form, but if you WANT to (I'll be happy to see you join if you do) - here's the link for it already: Milly T's TriMax Forum. Yay!!

        January 17, 2007
(Jan 19th update - AngelofDeath tells me he received TM#11 and that it IS available - you just have to search a bit! ^_^)
Oh gosh! How did time go by so quickly?! Well - first off - new YKO for Feburary - the Summary is UP! Not too many translations like last time around, but.... since this might be the second to last chapter of Trigun Maximum... I'll probably get to work on it as soon as I clear up some time again!
No word yet from anyone about TM #11 being released by DH, but if anyone gets it, drop me a line and I'll update the site. No other big Trigun news really - I haven't been able to do much research, no artwork, no stories - oh, I do have Susan-chan's newest... if you haven't been to her dA site - Dwellin@DeviantART - look!! She's been posting all of her artwork on there lately and she has a REALLY terrific Vash and Knives piece up I'm just in love with! ^_^
Ohayocon went really well - except that they scheduled our TM Panel at MIDNIGHT! There were a few people who came, and those who did asked tons of questions and we really enjoyed showing off all of the awesome newest chapters and spoilers. Meesh won a Honorable Mention at the cosplay - we didn't sell too much artwork, but I did have one order for a print that I have to send out as soon as I get a day off work! That's why things have been so crazy - Mike was here until right before New Years - he left (my last post) - and then immediately afterwards I went to Ohayocon, then to West Virginia - as soon as I got back I've been working straight through (an entire week now) and I still have another day to go! But had to get up something for all of you! I'm really sorry it's been so long - and I'm still crossing my fingers things will return to normal...I hope. And maybe I'll have more news for you! Especially if... Chapter 100 is the END.... O_O Oooooooooh. See you soon!

        December 30, 2006
Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!! Happy Holidays to everyone!! Sorry it's been forever since I've updated. Where should I even begin? First off - holidays are not a good season for me to keep updating things because I'm always working. Secondly, my boyfriend visited from West Virginia so I've been preoccupied with him. Add on the fact that I should have been working on information for the Trigun panel which is in a WEEK... the Artist Alley table too - both of which I need to prepare like crazy for but also...I'm still working! But that wasn't the main reason I haven't been online or updating.
Even with holidays and craziness, I probably would have made more of an effort to update my site if it weren't for Maximum7. Namely, a couple members of Max7 who I have yet to talk to since the incident happened. It wouldn't have even bugged me really... Okay, the facts - I get Young King Ours a few days after Puchiko does. She had said all along she didn't have a good scanner and so couldn't scan it. But then, unbenounced to me, it was a fixable problem. So, dilligently, I've been scanning the new chapters (and I want to say you're very welcome, all those who have downloaded it!) only to find out that Chapter 98 was ALSO done by Puchiko, and I wasn't told. Why does that anger me? Had even ONE person said, "Oh hey, Puchiko can do it now, we fixed her scanner problem" then I would have said, "Whoot! Chapter early!!" But no one did - I had to find out from reading the forum! So, I guess in my mind I wound up wasting my time for a couple people who didn't even bother to say 'thanks but no thanks'. (For the record, I'm not angry at Puchiko, but a few older people who run the forum who should have known to tell me.)
To add insult to injury, when I DID send them the chapter and request to get the translations so I could at least continue doing my summaries for you... the translator didn't even respond, nor has he said 'well, we wanted to wait until the scanlation was up' or anything like that...nope, no word!! Only an apology AFTER I mentioned on the forum that I was not going to be on there anymore.
So... You WILL be getting the summary here tonight or tomorrow for Chapter 98. However, there will be limited translations since I haven't had time to sit down and do them myself. I'm not sure whether or not Max7 will be posting their scanlation without word from me, but I have yet to quite get over being hurt by it. Heck, I've even considered making my OWN forum...and actually I have one started but no graphics or anything to go with it. If anyone is interested, they think it's a good idea I have a forum attached to THIS site, and would like to help me with graphics, please email me! I'll need some admin people and someone who knows the workings of an 'invisionfree' forum space. ^_~
AAAAANYYYWHO.... News! Trigun Maximum #11 should be out this next week - whoot!! Look for it!! Also buy yourself (with that Christmas gift card you've probably got) the Gungrave Archives translated - LOTS of cool interviews and original Nightow sketches! *LUV LUV LUV* YKO Chapter 99 will be coming up the week or so after (I'll be gone the week after Ohayocon until Friday so perhaps I'll be back when my own book arrives!) Let's see...what else? Susan's drawn another grand piece of artwork - it's her "New Years" piece, and will go up on her own page soon too (if it's not up by the time you read this!). Anything else? No work on stories unfortunately, no work on Trigun art from yours truly (I've been busy... ugg) But probably soon with that too. No other Trigun news overall but I haven't done an extensive search in awhile either - so I'll keep you posted as I get back into the swing of things again!
I want to give a special note to all of you who have patiently waited for my return. I'm very sorry for not keeping you updated as I have in the past! I have failed to live up to your expectations and I shall do my best not to fail you again!! Life and petty grievances sometimes get in the way of doing what I really want to do, and it's regrettable. But know this, your letters, encouragement have all been dear to me! I don't want to be a drama queen over this whole thing... so I'm going to try to make sure it doesn't happen again!! Love & Peace in the New Year - may you ring it in Trigun STYLE! See ya...next year!

        December 14, 2006
Scans! Get'cher raw scans! Whoot! Chapter 98 . I haven't updated the YKO page just yet since we're in the process of translating - and heck, as long as you don't have a slow connection like I do, you can just get the pictures right now. I'll try to go through and explain what's going on later on this week - but between Abo, Puchiko, Elizabeth, and myself...(the YKOers ^_~) we've all been discussing what exactly IS going on! *chuckles* I think the translations will help that immensely. But for now, enjoy!
Does this picture spoil too much? You already know that these two are dead...so what are they doing in the new chapter? Remember what I said about Vash being passed out? These two are just a couple of the many deceased that show up in his 'dream' or is it a vision? There's no way to know for sure. But Wolfwood sure is sexy there, don't you think? And I know Meesh is happy to see Legato again, if only briefly. And there's a special appearance of some of the GHGs and of course the one Vash has been searching for, Rem!
Oh yeah - for some reason I thought about that, did anyone notice that in TM #10 there's no translator credits? It's just "Studio Cutie". Go fig. Stay tuned as we come closer to Christmas, the updates will be completed and I may just have some cool information going up as I study the world of Trigun for the panel Meesh and I are doing at Ohayocon! If you're anywhere near Ohio in January - come on over and see us! Until then... see you soon!

        December 8, 2006
As we still wait patiently for Chapter 98... I'm finally getting at least a bit of my updates done. The chapter list on the YKO page is updated (finally). I'm hoping my YKO comes this weekend (sometime between today and tomorrow) but of course, that's yet to be seen and I'm fully prepared to pounce on the mailman when he gets here and grab it from him! *grins* If you've visited Maximum7's forum, you might have seen the Japanese summary that's out there - I don't have the link at present, but it shows a gag drawing of Vash with Wolfwood and Rem...does that mean Vash is having one of his patented dreams when he's unconcious? One does wonder, that's for sure!!
So, is everyone ready for Christmas now? Got all of the Trigun goodies you don't have yet on your list? Make sure you get the Trigun calendar for the new year - gotta have that too! Make sure you get all of the Trigun Maximums, all of the figures that aren't out of production (tough to do that now!) and get on the roll with all of the little goofy Kuroneko stuff that's out there. Stop in at RightStuf.com and get yourself a messenger bag with your favorite character (why oh why don't they have Milly!!?) and drink it up with one of the shotglasses. *GRINS* Then sit down and draw some holiday Trigun art... and send it to me, I might just feature it on my main page! ^_^ Until then...I hope you're enjoying your holiday and keep your fingers crossed the new chapter will be in very soon!

        November 30, 2006
In the world of "Ricki is going crazy" - I seem to have not touched this site in over a week. ARG!!! Because well, I got Trigun Maximum #10 in English so I plan to do an updated list of chapter titles on the YKO page. Also, probably next weekend (not this one though) the new YKO will be out... so you'll have that to look forward to, especially since I'll be once again doing the scanning! ^_^ Hopefully this time around you'll have the link within a day or two of me receiving it! It also looks like, the next time I update (hopefully a nice mass-update again) I'll be adding that manga scans link permenantly for raws. No, scanlations were fun but I think everyone deserves to also see it in it's raw form, so you can decide whether or not the translations are correct! Plus, I just love Japanese. ^_^
I think the main reason for my lack of updatedness is that I was sick and then the holiday... but also because I was having trouble with Geocities. Remember me talking about having over 1,000 hits in October? (thank you btw!) Well, about a week into November the entire history was wiped. I mean, the logs of those 1,000 hits just disappeared - poof! - and after emailing, they never did come up with a proper solution. It wouldn't have bothered me too much but the hit count on the front page was wiped of the 1,000... So I had to take a shot in the dark and I've always been kinda picky about keeping my hits carefully monitored, just because if only 20 hits can visit a certain page a day, I must have too much info on it! Top hit rate on my site right now is about 70 with maybe one hour where the site goes down. Not too bad eh? Did you notice it isn't down nearly as much as it used to be? That's the reason! ^_^ And of course the blackestocean site had been down...so it was all a horrendous mess. After a few days I just shut off the computer and didn't return to it for a few days! I was so angry at it! ARG! But... now it's all better. ^_^ And you'll be getting updates regularly again. So thank you SO much for sticking around with me, and I shall be back soon!

        November 21, 2006
Thanks to my wonderful hosts - it looks like everything is back up and running again! Plus...it wasn't my fault so it looks like I'll be able to put up raws again! Yay! Which means.. Trigun Maximum Raws is back up and running so you can see both Ch. 96 and the NEW Ch. 97! ^_^ That's my Thanksgiving gift to you (whether you celebrate the holiday or not!) So... look at the chapter, read the translations on the YKO page - and enjoy! Much love and peace!

Updates!! Getcher updates!! YKO December 2006 is UP! It's completely translated thanks to Molokidan (once again...I'm too busy to ever do it anymore, sadly) however, I hope it clarifies things for you all, I had fun writing the descriptions this month. ^_^ Hopefully Maximum7 will get it up - for some odd reason their typesetter is taking forever, even though they've changed to someone else quite recently.
In other news, I'm still trying to figure out what's happened to the blackestocean doorway - many of my pages have been on there for awhile and we haven't had any problems with it in the past (however, I never opened up massive download scanlations either... >_<) So it may be that it's just down until the end of November since many sites like that have one set amount of bandwidth - use it up for the month and you're done. Unlike Geocities which monitors it by the hour. So... I'm slowly working at getting certain pages that I know you love to visit moved back to Geocities - so the YKO cover guide is back up and running for now. Unfortunately it'll be awhile but the majority of my guest art and fanfiction, as well as the Trigun CGI gallery are all down. I'll attempt to get some of this running elsewhere in the meantime, but please be patient, I may just wind up waiting until December to see if it comes up again. In the event that it doesn't, be assured I will get it all up and running again come hell or high water... Or the pages may just disappear from lack of visitations anyway - perhaps to make room for something new? I guess we'll just see!!
In the future, if anyone notices that pages are down (and unvisitable after waiting an hour) - PLEASE let me know. This site runs because of YOU, and I can sure use your help to let me know when something isn't working right!! I do my best to get links fixed within 24 hours, pictures back up, that sort of thing, as long as you let me know!! Never hesitate to point out problems - it might just be temporary, but this site is so big that I can't always check to make sure things are working 100% of the time without help. So thank you ahead of time for helping me out!!
Last update - for those of you reading "Dark Convergence" as a special Thanksgiving treat, Susan and I have have put up both Chapter 15 & 16 - we hope you enjoy it!!

        November 13, 2006
I just got Ch. 97 tonight!! Yay! Got it scanned too - but due to some recent developments with the blackestocean site...which isn't working - so I apologize for all of the links that are currently down - I'm looking into the problem at present... I can't get it up for you to see. However... the good news is that Max7 is already hard at work getting it up! Flipster is planning on a Thursday release - so keep your peepers out! In the meantime, between now and then I WILL have a discription up. I spent too much time working at getting it scanned tonight to be able to do both...plus with the website problems I've got too much on my plate. Wish someone would have mentioned it being down... >_> Anyway, Susan-chan and I will also be getting the next chapter of Dark Convergence up this week too - so keep an eye out for that as well! ^_^ Updates soon, just keep popping back!

Quick update tonight. Thanks to Molokidan from Max7 I now have all of the translations up! Whoot! And if you were one of my emailers, you now have the raws to go along with them! I've had tons of responses these last few weeks for the raws, and even though for those of you who couldn't email me (or were scared - don't worry, I won't bite!), I'm sorry I couldn't put the link up, I'm unsure about my bandwidth on the other site - although, I may wind up giving it a try and seeing if someone emails me saying that I've used up too much! Heh heh. Anyway, there's been a few really wonderful people dropping me lines offering to do scanlations - so look out - we may be getting on that bandwagon once I can talk to the right people. Anyway - I'm probably out of things to update for this month, but that's only because I've got Youmacon (Troy, MI) to go to - Nov. 4, 5, and 6 - I'll have an artist table if anyone can come and see me! I'll have some of my original fanart with me! And a few other surprises. I'm going to be working with that most of the rest of this month (plus of course Halloween) - so I'll see you in November unless I have any surprises pop up. *GRINS EVILLY*

        October 23, 2006
I didn't call this page "Ramblings" for nothing. *GRINS* I'm going to ramble here about how excited I am! Why? No, it doesn't have to do with Trigun - although the next chapter is coming up in Japan next week... I know, we won't get it here for another week or so after that... *sob* And I know that Max7 is still not getting up the chapter... I'm really considering talking to them about letting me do type setting... well, I know, the quality would probably go down a bit which maybe they're worried about, but come now... why should it take so long to typeset 30 pages when it took me a day to scan them and only a few hours for the translator to do his work? Perhaps I'll start asking for the translations for putting them up here right away... How would that work?
Anyway, I still haven't gotten to why I'm so happy - although if you read the front page you might have an idea. Because we've hit OVER ONE THOUSAND hits this month!! The highest for a long time was back when Meryl and Vash said goodbye - that was April 2005 - and this month we've FAR surpassed that!! Is it the sheer fandom of Meryl and Vash fans? Or was it the fact that...somebody died? ^_~ Hrm... I'm not sure! Whatever it is, I really want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for visiting my site!! I have really appreciated all of the emails I've been getting requesting scans - yes, I could have put the link up here...but I'm being evil, I wanted to hear from you all. BWAHAHA. I dragged people out of the woodwork from all parts of the world! That makes me really happy because I love knowing you're coming from all over! You're all really terrific fans!! But I know what you're all here for - Trigun Maximum. Not me. *grins* So thanks for reading my ramblings and don't worry...next time I write, it'll be more TM news...and hopefully more translations... geez I'm slow... sorry. Until then - Love & Peace!!

YKO update!! Whoot!! A wee bit...okay, a LOT later than I was hoping to get this up. My free days come few and far between - so the last one I scanned all of the new chapter (which is available, email or AIM me) and then the very next one, I've got the partial translation and summary. I hope you enjoy!! Lots and lots of spoilers! But then again, you wouldn't be here if you didn't like spoilers, right? *GRINS*
"I did a bad thing, Rem... I did a bad thing..." Yeah, well, he doesn't speak... so we really aren't sure what Vash is thinking during this picture, but it certainly is heart-rending, don't you think? I just wanna give Vash a great big huge hug and say, "It'll be alright!" But then again...Meryl's there for him. *GRINS* Yes - all you Meryl/Vash fans will be rewarded this month. Time well spent waiting - it's been awhile. So if you can't wait for Maximum7's translations just let me know! I'd have posted that picture but I didn't want to be too spoiler-riffic tonight!!
Nothing else new to report sadly. I think I've mentioned that the English releases for just about everything Trigun have been pushed back... However, something new you CAN buy right now is the Trigun 2007 Calendar from Broccolli Books - it's actually a pretty nice calendar, rather than just using the same-ol' artwork the same way, they've merged quite a few different pictures into some interesting montages - plus other characters appear - like Dominique, the Rodrick leader, Rei-Dei... Milly! ^_^ Buy it for another year of Trigun. ^_~ And I hope to update again soon!

        October 6, 2006
It's the GREAT....Upload!! *grins* No, unfortunately still no scans - but LOADS of new Fanart!! Tons, oodles, gobs!! First off, from the 'almighty' Edward Elric (who is a huge fan of Trigun...didn'tja know, that's why his hair is blond and he wears a red coat? *chuckles* Just kidding...maybe) - has submitted a whole theme of 'twins' artwork - starring of course, our favorite twins - Vash and Knives! And a few special guests - like Razlo and Livio (a very creepy montage!!) and I want to give a very special welcome to Abel Nightroad from Trinity Blood - whom we ALL know had to have been based on Vash (cuz he's just like him!) and a wee bit of Alucard when he goes all crazy...but hey, if I wasn't so totally devoted to Trigun I might have switched over to Abel cuz I love a man in robes. *GRINS* Aaaaanyway - carrying on...
Next brand new artwork comes from Susan-chan (aka Dwellin) herself!! She's been learning Copic markers (don't we all wish we could afford them??) and her Milly she sent is absolutely, drop dead, terrific!! The Meryl she did at night drinking coffee out in the desert (mmmm coffee... got my grande maple mocchiato right here...) is just faboo!! Don't you just love how the hills and sky look just like it's night?? Take a look if you haven't seen it yet - this is just the tip of the iceberg with what I'm sure Susan-chan is going to surprise us with next!!
Not to toot my own horn *sqawak...okay so it's a bit flat* I've added a few of my better Trigun drawings that I've been holding hostage on deviantART for awhile. Namely an older CGI Vash with his cute colorful wings... Another Vash I drew at Ikasucon I have yet to color, it was more of a case study on drawing his awesome fake arm (plus feathers - we all love 'em!). Lastly my newest CGI Vash, which is really only a few weeks old, I drew him for this site since it's been forever since I've updated and Vash is just so adorable. ^_^
Well, that's it for the updates... Maybe! Keep your eyes peeled for more coming VERY soon. Things might drop back off for awhile (I hope not, but I'm working straight through until next week after today's meeting this morning... blarg, I hate mornings) - but never fear, the moment YKO comes - it's yours! ^_~

        October 3, 2006
Translations are finally up for October's YKO... yeah, I know...a bit late, thanks to Molokidan's translations for completing what I didn't find time to do myself. November's issue should be in within the next week or so. Because Max7 lost their scanner, I'll be doing scanning at least for this month (most likely) - and if that is the case, the raws WILL be available on this site before the scanlations go up - just for those of you who can't wait any longer. (yeah, two extra weeks is hard even for me!!) Even if I have to stay up super late, I'll get the scans available the day I get YKO! ^_^
Meanwhile - coming up before then, most likely, new artwork from Susan-chan!! New artwork from Edward Elric is coming as well - and even a new one from yours truly as well!! Lot's of Vash, Milly, Meryl and even Knives! So keep your eyes open, it'll be an "en masse" upload so you'll have plenty to look at!
As many of you have already found out, Dark Horse has pushed back the release dates for TriMax's English releases...yet again. Were you really surprised?
In Anime Insider, they've yet again mentioned the Trigun toys coming from JazWares, but I have yet to find a real definitive date on when they are going to be available. Go to "www.figures.com" and there's an update that set the box sets available for companies in July - but the Jazzwares site doesn't have any information about Trigun on there at all. Check it out if you like: Jazzwares.
      Until next time!

        September 20, 2006
I'm back!! Although I'm sorry to say I haven't got much for you all - I've been so busy I haven't gotten translations - if it takes much longer I'll steal...urm...ask to borrow Max7's translations... (I always get permission, so don't you dare think I'm being a thief!!) But in the meantime I thought that this site needed some updates here and there. So as you'll notice, I've updated the look of the front page a wee bit. New title too. Will there be more new updates in your future? YES! What do I have...? Hrm. Truthfully I don't have much, I"ve been on the lookout for toy updates - nothing. Release updates...nothing. I haven't had time to do new Trigun artwork, Susan-chan's been busy, and when we do get free time we're normally working on Dark Convergence...which should be having a new update again soon (we hope!)
But hey... Just because I don't personally have updates - what about you? Anyone up for doing some manga colorations? How about making desktops? Short stories? How about cosplay photos? Oh yeah...I was meaning to do something with mine...hrm. ^_~ How about silly poetry or drinking games? Email me!!! Ricki I'd love to put up something you've been working on specially! I know that things have been very slow since Trigun's off the air and we've only got one new chapter of Maximum since April - of course July was the exciting month this summer and it seems to have slowed down again. However - I haven't forgotten, I'm devoted to keeping you informed - but I still need INFORMANTS - so any information you have, send it my way and I'll look into it and post it! Thanks for stopping by today!! I hope to hear from you!

        September 7, 2006
Here we go - something to look at! Wolfwood! The strangest little sudden appearance of a character to date (when he's dead...well, goes to show even Nightow loved Wolfwood!) For those of you crazed Wolfwood fans, at least you get a little taste of him after all of this time! As for the reason I've got this picture up here today, I've finally updated the YKO page - it's now a more accurate summary, even though as of yet I still haven't translated the majority of it. As of last night Maximum 7 still did not have the scanlations up - way too many two-page spreads this time, I wound up putting this Wolfwood together quite sloppily, just so you would have something pretty to look at. *grins* (Larger version available per email if you only want him and not the rest of the chapter).
There's also one scan on the YKO page, sorry, after the Dark Horse scare a few month's back, I've been careful not to put entire chapters up any more. But never fear, I'll keep bustling away at the translations for you all! ^_^
Also - I thought I'd make a little note about poor Legato. Quite frankly, I hope he doesn't die. And I'm not saying that just to apease the Legato fans (sorry Meeshy!) but because I don't really want Vash to wind up killing him! (bwahaha) Seriously I think he could find another out in order to save Livio...there's got to be something - shoot the body of Elendira with one of those crazy bullets - suck it up in a black hole... Alright, so it *could* happen! There's always another way out, even Wolfwood had to admit that later on. Huh... there's that reference to the priest again. Poor guy. *has silent moment for Wolfwood and quite possibly Legato too* ^_~ Stay tuned!

        September 5, 2006
Young King Ours update is up! Mind you I was doing it by memory since I don't have the magazine until this weekend, but for those of you who don't get on Maximum7 for the scanlations (or you're like me and have to wait the long time for it to load and need a teaser in the meantime), I've got a basic rundown of what's going on! Never fear, later on this week I'll be getting up my own translations and a more accurate play-by-play, because honestly, some of the action in this chapter is pretty confusing! There's a TON going on in 46 pages! I hope you all enjoy! Is this the end of Legato? Has Vash killed him? Has our hero been forced to become a murderer just as Legato always wanted for him?? Stay tuned - it looks like we're on our way to finding out over the next few months!!

        August 30, 2006
We are back up and running after MONTHS of waiting for Trigun Maximum to come back to us!! A new cover with Legato and...a dark blond/purple coated Vash? Hrm - another color change on our dashing hero? (grins) Heh heh. Legato looks increasingly insane - this is a very cool cover, completely different than Nightow has been doing recently - very awesome! Of course - I don't have my copy yet... *sob* And Maximum 7 has yet to put it up - but don't worry, a full review and of course translations will once again appear on this site the moment I get it and perhaps we'll get to see it thanks to the wonderful folks at Max7. ^_~ I can't wait to see what is in store - it's bound to be VERY exciting!!
Meanwhile - I got yet another chapter of Dark Convergence up. Been working dillegently at our Dark Vash story, Susan and I have - we sure hope you're reading it!! If fanfiction isn't one of your cups of tea - then how about pictures of Otakon? I've got those up on Cosplay.com... new artwork? Well, as of late we haven't been doing much *sob* - but hey, that doesn't mean YOU couldn't have YOUR artwork up here! I haven't heard from many people this summer either - email me! Send me your drawings, send me your takes on Dark Vash, let me know that you've been keeping up on Trigun Maximum - what about all of these awesome new rare pictures that have been appearing on the forums lately? I'll probably be putting up a new page soon with more of these 'rare' pictures drawn by Nightow-sensei - so keep an eye out! And see you soon with YKO coverage!!

        August 14, 2006
So much new stuff to talk about!! Well, not too much actually... but I just got the YKO for September (finally!) and it's got the beautiful new mini-booklet - and YES it's on Maximum 7 for download so get your hands on those pictures!! Also in this month's YKO is a two-page silly spread of Nightow's chubby little avatar talking about...food? I'm not entirely sure but it looks like he's darn hungry! ^_~ PLUS... NEXT MONTH... YES!! FINALLY - a NEW chapter!!! YAYAAAYAYAYAYAY! The wait is almost over everyone! Next month's YKO will also feature Trigun Maximum on the cover - so yet ANOTHER colored Tri-max picture - whoot!! It's like the flood gates are open and all the goodness is flowing out yet again! Look forward to it!!

        August 8, 2006
It's a NEW page - the Old Otaku ramblings have moved yet again (making way for new cool stuff)! In the meantime I'm back from Otakon! Whoot! Had a blast - namely because I was finally able to find new Trigun Maximum stuffs! Trigun Maximum #9 has been released in English so I've updated the YKO to reflect the new titles (funny though, they're still crediting Justin Burnes, I guess I should ask him if he got the job back?). Also Trigun Maximum #12 was released in Japanese as you all know, so those titles have been added and I've split up the YKO chapters into the new book chapters - eventually I hope to add the changes to the chapters because at least a dozen pages were deleted or completely added, and quite a few pages had text changed! Surprise surprise, Nightow was a busy guy! The back cover has Kuronika, Legato, Elendira, Livio, Milly and Meryl as well as Vash's "special bullet" - the inner cover is a play on the anime "Black Jack" about the famous doctor. There you go, a bit of trivia for all you anime/manga fans!
I also picked up the 'Vash PVC' figurine where he's watching TV (thanks to Meesh for spotting it for me after I looked for three days!!). Originally I wasn't going to get him since he was so unusual, but now that I know he's actually from an original Nightow drawing - I had to get him! He's BIG too! In other Trigun news from Otakon - at the Madhouse Panel, apparently "A certain director is going to be doing a certain movie about a certain guy who dresses in a red coat" - yeah, can it be ANY more vague?? (info also from Meesh - I can't be everywhere at once...although I wish I could!)
Hopefully I'll be getting up pictures from our Gung-Ho Guns photo shoot on Saturday. Also there are a couple of other projects I'd like to do in the next couple of weeks since convention season is basically over for me (but for Youmacon in November) so I'll have more time to not worry about cosplay and work on this website some more! Plus in another month we should be getting back to YKO since Nightow is back - did you notice we really are going to be going into book #14 from what I've counted? Pretty exciting! I believe you can get the mini-book on Maximum 7, although, *blushes* I haven't looked yet myself! Buuut...I'll keep you updated, I'm on a roll again and have a brand new love for this series yet again *sigh - Vash... XD*
