June 16,2005 Quickie: I really was going to make this a new page but I ran out of time! Newest additions: I managed to translate 1 1/2 pages more of the YKO - still have 4 to go... Taking more time than I thought... *grumbles* But in the meantime I put up the missing chapters from TM10 that Sumire missed so now you should have just about everything between our two sites. ^_^ Enjoy!!

June 14,2005 Okay! A bunch of new updates today!! ^_^ First off - visit the Guestart & Fanfiction page - my friend Tony wrote a short one-shot based on the anime, Ep. 24 when Vash is fighting Legato - it's a first person from Vash's point of view and REALLY grabs you! ^_^      Second update - more translations are up for Ch. 84 of YKO. Got everything leading up to Legato's flashback and a few sentences into it - I still have about 6 more pages to go, and this chapter has been really difficult, Nightow is writing for an older audience now so he's got some kanji that really baffle me!! >_< Forgive me for really changing the dialog around to make it understandable - if ANYONE has it and reads Japanese please help!! ^_^      Scans ARE available for this chapter! Not the entire chapter but all of Legato's flashback - email me for the link to the zip file (some of you already have!!)      Last update is a new drawing from Susan-chan! ^_^ OOOHHH isn't she getting SO good!! More artwork from "Forever Mine" by Aine of Knockaine - check her out at ff.net/~aineofknockaine. There's also more artwork coming from B&G soon, as well as Ch. 30 hopefully by Thursday - Susan's been so busy drawing up a storm that she hasn't had much time to write!!      Oh - one more thing, Otaku rambling page is getting too big again!! Next update will be on a clean page with all the other stuff in the archives!! Just be warned if you're looking for any of the pictures posted. ^_^

June 11,2005 YAY!! It's HERE FINALLY!!! ^_^ After a very disappointing day yesterday, the Young King Ours for July 2005 came! It's huge! YKO is now thicker I'd say than even Shonen Jump - I'm thinking that the format is going to remain this big as well. BUT - I know that's not what you're wondering - it's what's going on what's going on???!! ^_^ Never fear! I have the first rough description up of the chapter now. I'm going to have a LOT to translate, there was very little I knew from heart (guess I really need to study more!) and Legato does a lot of narrating. I know a lot of you are Legato fans and you won't be disappointed. ^_^ He really does have a reason for being so obsessively passionate about his devotion to Knives. Now I really can't hate him - well, you can e for yourself. ^_^ Go go! Don't read my dribbles anymore! Go read the update!!! *GRINS*

June 10,2005 Okay - don't get your hopes up yet, the YKO isn't here - but I am updating my site with some new artwork I finished tonight. ^_^ I need to get more of Susan's up soon, but in the meantime I did one of Young Knives and Vash I was particularly fond of! I've been doing quite a lot of art recently, but have been pretty choosy about which I'm putting up here, saving room and whatnot. If you like what you see, let me know. ^_^       In other news - Susan talked to her Japanese tutor with a page from the internet about the Trigun figures - they show 6, but apparently there is going to be a box set available with ten - so I'm really getting ansty here! If anyone else finds out about them please let me know so I can share the news!       Last bit of info: I just wanted to thank all of the newcomers lately! Welcome welcome!! I wanted to send a shout out to Renee and Brian - they're in the group shot from Anime Central (a female Dark Vash and cross-less Wolfwood respectively) - just thought I'd give them a few moments of fame online. *GRINS* Love & Peace everyone - Love & Peace!! June 7,2005 Still waiting patiently for permission to put up Ch. 30 of B&G, but I have a feeling it should be any time now. ^_^ YAY! In the meantime, and to celebrate my birthday tomorrow - I thought I'd change the picture on the front page for some eye candy. *GRINS* So far it's not going up on my art page, but I thought I'd share it with you all anyway. Hope you're having a nice warm summer wherever you are (or winter, I know some people visit this site from the southern hemisphere too...) and maybe while you're at the beach you'll see Wolfwood there! Heh heh. Toodles!

June 4,2005 So in all of my wanderings and wonderings today I decided to write a tiny bit about Cosplay. It's interesting to me how much effort people put into their costumes. You should see some of the costumes out there! I can't even compare myself to these people, they're that outstanding - take Vash cosplayers for example. I've seen some that go all the way down to making not only the coat, doing up the hair, but also making the under suit and some of them even going through the painstaking work of painting scars! My only regret is that I'm always too shy around these people in order to talk to them about learning how to do cosplay to the extreme. In fact, I don't talk to enough Trigun fans in my opinion - I know a lot about the series, but I don't always know what really draws people to the series.       So that brings me to a little request, if anyone knows of these cosplayers - or heck, you are one - write me - and if you don't know anything about them, drop me a line and tell me what you really LOVE about Trigun. Do you relate to the characters, just like the action, or fanfiction or whatnot - let me know. I'd love to know more about what people like about this series... Maybe I should get a forum... Nah, I'm too lazy. ^_~       In other news the "Trigun Maximum" figurine set was just released in Japan. I haven't found anywhere you could order it to come to the USA yet however - it's THAT new. Most places are selling it for around, 3,400YEN - Approx. $34 for all six figurines and they aren't going to be sold seperately. As soon as I find out more (like an American shop selling them) I'll let you know!! In the meantime I'm looking at getting my YKO subscription renewed - only three months left of the old one - and nothing else going on in the world of Trigun right now as far as I can tell... Although, if you haven't gotten TM#5 yet - GET IT!! ^_^ It hit my Borders already so I'd imagine it's everywhere now. We're getting ever closer to Vash's first encounter with Knives!!       Last tidbit (I know today seems like ramblings more than usual) - B&G Chapter 30 is on its way, Susan is nearly finished editing it. She's been busy being an artist so it's slower coming. My Milly/Vash story is complete - not all of it is on ff.net yet (www.fanfiction.net/~millythompson) - but if anyone is interested in reading it all in one foul swoop let me know and I'll email it to you. Catherine is working on some new ones... Trying to beg her to allow me to post them. ^_~ BEG BEG. And of course - what you've all been waiting paitently for should be here next week... Just a few days after my birthday on the 8th. YAY! 26!! (I'm such an old fogey - I'll admit it!! ^_~) No harm in being a fan at my age - nothing else to do. Okay everyone - toodles!

May 29,2005 Danke danke to everyone who has been dropping me notes lately! I've tried to address your concerns and changed the website accordingly - to let everyone know this website addresses only straight pairings, (even though I have a few links to W/V sites) sorry to the yaoi fans - as well as all of the "good guys" in the series have their time to shine as well (Milly and Meryl rock!! ^_^) - I did change the site to encompass all of Trigun & Trigun Maximum (not just my shrine to Vash anymore!) as well as clarified that when Susan started writing B&G she did get permission from Deleria to write it, although it is not the "official" sequal it was authorized. Also - thanks to everyone else who has given me compliments! Thank you! I really appreciate it! ^_^ Thank you for writing my other posters as well! It brightens brightens mine to kno, someth they have fans because I knew how good they were and started posting their stories and drawings! (Kinda like - "I told you I told you you were good!!") Everyone who writes my posters and myself - THANK YOU!! I wouldn't have such a great website if it weren't for all of you!       In other news - Blackfire & Gunsmoke Ch. 29 is UP!! ^_^ Ready for more action with our favorite characters? I know you all waited so patiently!! Read away!! ^_^ Susan's busily working on Ch. 30 - so drop her a line and bug her if you want it sooner. *GRINS* (She's going to kill me for this isn't she? ^_~)       The YKO translation for June is FINISHED!! The translation may not be completely accurate (I'll continue to say this until it's officially translated and I got something right... Then I'll stop! ^_~) but you should get the idea. I do have a few scans of the chapter if anyone is interested please drop me a line - my email address is posted at the bottom of this page! The next YKO I'm expecting on June 10 (cross your fingers) and the update shortly after since I don't have any more conventions or house sitting to interfere with translations!! ^_^       Speaking of conventions - I'm going to start work on the page tonight for Anime Central 2005 - it will probably be up Tuesday so keep your eyes peeled - lots of pictures and goofy stories! PLUS - a special doujinshi 1-shot I just finished this morning. Look for it!!

May 27,2005 Okay!! Except for three rare Kanji I need to look up, the YKO update is pretty much completed. I don't think there will be much left to be revealed but I'll keep you posted - the last update should be this weekend sometime. In other news I'll be getting up pictures too (but I'm house sitting so I don't have access to my files) - I know, I'm looking forward to it too!! ^_^       For all of those of you who have expressed some concern for Vash - don't worry, Nicholas came back from a LOT more than Vash is dealing with!! I think there was a reason he was asleep - although why, I can't say, we aren't getting Vash's POV this chapter - but maybe it has something to do with Kuronika... Hmmmm. And he's back on his feet at the end of the chapter even with the blood loss... Have faith in Vash!! He'll save us all! *grins*       Lemme think... If possible by next Tuesday we'll have another chapter of B&G (it would be up already if I had access to those files), there should be a 1-shot doujinshi from yours truly, plus the convention photos and update... Going to spend all of next Tuesday working on it for you all! So keep your eyes peeled! Have a great Memorial Day weekend!!

May 24, 2005 Sorry for the delays!! I just got more translations up - I have about two more pages to go and I'll be all finished. No scans yet (sorry) I spent the day sorting through pictures from the convention and trying to figure out which ones to post. I did however move around things on the YKO page so that they read in order but for the newest issues at the top - also added a new link to a good Trigun page that has screencaps (although it's a pop-up site and a bit hard to navigate). As for YKO - do not worry, even if the series goes on past my subscription I've already decided to re-subscribe. ^_^ I've found a new manga series called "World Embryo" that just started in there I'm really interested in - it's got... Oh yes, another blond haired hero type. ^_~

May 19, 2005 Quickie: New colored pencil of Vash on my page - Susan and I sat down this weekend and taught each other our "fortes" so she showed me tricks of the colored pencil and I showed her some hints for inking. She's already trying her hand out with it (I'm hoping she'll let me show some of her little doujinshi she's been working on!) and I finally sat down to work on this Vash. It's been a lot of fun and I really thank you Susan for your help! Colored pencils certainly make for yet another fun way to color! ^_^       If you're up to something a little different to read while you're waiting for B&G, I have a new story on ff.net (follow this link) for "One Day at a Time" - I'll tell you it's a Milly/Vash story. I just put up chapter three tonight. I know what most of you are thinking but give them a try and then you can throw cross punishers, stun guns and other objects at me... *runs away holding kuronekosama over her head........*

May 18, 2005 Konnichiwa!! Sorry I didn't get the YKO update up yesterday, I kinda just passed out from exhaustion after the trip yesterday and couldn't make it to the computer. Luckily I did get some of it translated - still need to do about 5 more pages, so please bear with me - I got most everything Knives said to Vash done though. Besides that you may have already noticed that the picture on the front page has changed! Pictures from the convention! This one is thanks to Eurobeat King (found at Cosplay.com) since I just got my pictures into be developed (okay, so I'm old fashioned - I spend my money on manga rather than a digital camera!) but I should be getting a new story up very soon.       For those of you who may visit after I gave you a card at the convention - please Email me!! In fact anyone who drops by write me! I'd love to hear from you what you think of the site! That and I'd love to be able to share convention stories. Susan and I had just a blast, there were almost as many people dressed as Dark Vash as there were "normal" Vashs. I had an especially good time gathering all of the Trigun cosplayers together and getting these photos taken of us! There's more - E.K. didn't get all of the first shots with the Vashs, Millys and Wolfwoods together (there was only one Meryl and I'll have a picture of her later). Plus there was a "young Vash" in the center, an Eriks and even though he wasn't in this shot, there was a Vash chef I got a picture of later that night. ^_^       Coming soon: ACEN 2005 stories. More translations. B&G Ch. 29 next week. A new Vash by yours truly (slowly working on it) - hopefully some new stuff from Catherine (she's writing like crazy!) and perhaps even some artwork from Susan and perhaps Mabel too - I saw some really grand doujinshi stuff from her at the convention - now just to convince her she has enough time to send them to me! ^_~ Hope you all come back soon and check it out!! May 16, 2005 Tadaima!! I'm home again with lots of fun and interesting stories from ACEN!! The weekend was a lot of fun and as soon as I collect a few more pictures I'll get the story up for you all to peruse. I met some interesting Vashs, Dark Vashs, Wolfwoods, a Meryl and Milly (besides myself) as well as a young Vash, a ChibiVash and even an Eriks! We had a lot of fun doing a group photo shoot on Saturday even though it took us a few hours to get everyone rounded up and the group wasn't nearly as big as the FMA photo shoot - but there were plenty of Krispy Kremes, Cross Punishers and Womanizing Gunmen. ^_~ There will also be some mini-comics with the pictures so keep an eye out for them! The war between Maximum Vash and Anime Vash was on!!       Got some good news for everyone - the figurines that are coming out in Japan in June have bigger pictures online now if you go to Amazon.co.jp and type in "Trigun" (you can change the pages to display the links in English) and look for the fancy-posed Vash - there will be a link below him to find more pictures of the others - all a lot easier to see, and probably bigger than the real size which was 10cm (approx. 4 inches tall) I'm thinking they're "trading arts" figures - but the prices on them... Well, perhaps they're not because I couldn't see spending nearly $30 on a plastic figure! I'm thinking now they may actually be ceramic.. Perhaps. I'll keep you all posted.       YKO came this weekend while I was gone! OMGoodness (as Milly would say) the fight between Vash and Knives is heating up and getting bloody for our hero... at one point... he looks dead. But fear not! He's alive - but so is Legato who has shown up again! And also Elendira! Since I only got home this evening from the trip I haven't translated any of it so the moment I get it done it will go up very soon - probably tomorrow!! So keep your eyes peeled! Lots coming up very soon - new stories from Catherine (I hope she'll let me post them!) as well as the next chapter from Susan end of this week or the next, plus some new drawings and of course my apologies for downtime! I handed out quite a few business cards while I was at the convention so I've had quite a few new visitors. If you have favorite pages bookmark them (especially if they are on the off-shoot sites) so that you can visit them if the site is down. May 9, 2005 The rest of Book 9 is up tonight. I buzzed through it. Sorry there aren't any translations for this particular book - I wish I had time to do more of what Wolfwood thinks as he readies himself for the last fight, he's such a devoted friend to both Levio and Vash it must have been a very hard decision to decide which one to be loyal to in the end. I've never really taken an indepth look at this book before (since Vash only appears in Wolfwood's thoughts and you know me, major Vash fan!) so it's only been later now that I'm starting to appreciate Levio's character that I'm starting to like this one. But you can decide for yourself whether you like it or not. Since I hardly have any of it translated and don't plan on doing it in the near future - I'm really wondering what surprises await us! The first chapter of book 10, as well as Ch. 3 & 4 will go up on the same page when I get back from the convention so keep an eye out. May 8, 2005 Guess I lied - I have more updates. ^_~ Susan-chan just gave me two new drawings - yay!! They're so beautiful!! Check out her fan-art page!! Lots of good ooey-gooey Knives art. *GRINS* I know, for all you guys out there I know that Knives being romantic is intrinsically wrong... But for some reason some of us get a big kick out of it. *grins* I should draw some evil Knives stuff just to balance it... Hmmmm. ^_~ Nah - I'm sure there will be some butt-kicking Knives in the YKO updates soon... At least, I'm hoping so - but what in the world is Vash going to do? Could he kill Knives? Would he? Would Knives kill Vash? And what about Nightow saying neither brother would die in the end? *Yikes!* So many questions that still need to be answered!! I want it to come soon - but at the same time I'm dreading the end of Trigun Maximum - because what will happen after that? Will the Gunsmoke toy line turn into something new, especially with the addition of Gazelle the Peacemaker? What about how Levio has taken a new role in the manga? Will the video game ever be released? Will there be a Milly action figure? Will there ever be a Knives? *grins* I'm guilty of owning a couple figures myself - Dark Vash and Wolfwood - don't have Meryl, Monev or Gazelle - might have to rectify that at this convention coming up though. *grins* Well, hope you all have a good Mother's Day!! ^_^

May 6, 2005 Dark Horse Release List Today, since I don't have any stories or YKO updates *sob* I thought I'd update everyone on Trigun STUFF in general. ^_^ The release dates at the top of this page are taken straight from Dark Horse's website - apparently TM#5 is already supposed to be out! Although I haven't seen it around... have you? According to the Border's website it's not available until June! *shrugs*       In other news - Gungrave DVD #6 will be released 5/17/05 (according to Amazon.com) - in case anyone is still interested in Nightow's other series - I am! My brother is going to ACen as Brandon Heat. *grins* He looks like Brandon - when I get pictures from this con, I'll put them up.       Unfortunately this month is going to be a bit slow until after the convention - my apologies - the YKO update, Ch. 29 of B&G, new pictures, and con updates will fill the rest of the month and most likely updates will take place regularly after that. However... since you're all waiting so patiently for me - keep an eye out on the old YKO updates for TM#9 - the next two chapters are up tonight (2 & 3). ^_^ Also three new black and white sketches have been added to my page - I've been a busy sketcher but a lazy webmistress! May 1, 2005 Hello hello!! Only a little over a week away before ACEN!! Yay!! And it's May already! Goodness gracious I can't believe we're almost to the two year mark for this website - just another month left! Well, as May's special, and thanks to a request from one of my visitors I'm slowly putting up summaries for Trigun Maximum #8 and #9 in order to fill in the gaps from Sumire's site. I may end up going back in time even farther but for now just these newer books - I will eventually work through #10 as as well and then go back in time if the official translations haven't caught up by then. Anyway - so if you're dying to know what's going during the chapters that Sumire misssed, check out the new page here: TM#8 & #9 Summaries. Not all of book 9 is up yet, just chapter 1, but keep an eye out, I do a new one every few days. ^_^       In other news... Hmmmm. Not much else is going on right now in the world of Trigun - the new YKO is out in Japan (so I'm patiently waiting for my copy) it's their anniversary issue so there's supposed to be stickers and whatnot in it - I know Trigun Max. is in there (so Nightow didn't take a vacation - let's hope he doesn't until the series is finished!!) but other than that I don't have anything else to report!! April 27, 2005 Domo!! Today's update is: B&G - CHAPTER 28!! YAY!!! ^_^ This one has something for everyone!! I'm so glad to let you all read it - Susan worked really hard on this one and she did an awesome job! Whoo hoo!!!       In other news AU8 is pretty much finished - I need to edit three more sections this weekend before the remainder will go up and it'll be up by Friday. I almost had it all done yesterday but I've had a cold so it's been slow working. Don't worry, it's well worth the wait for this last section of the Milly&Meryl AU! Then onto new things! Doujinshi!! ^_~ From me anyway - don't worry, Susan and Catherine will still have plenty of fanfiction for you and I'm sure there'll be more from me eventually.       For YKO readers - June's issue (which is their anniversary issue) won't be up as early as they usually go up because the Friday I'm supposed to receive it is Anime Central!!! YAY!!!! I'll be there so if any of you are going to the convention in Chicago May 14-16 then make sure you keep an eye out for Milly Thompson! ^_^ Susan will be there too so if you're going to be there then say hi! We'd love to meet you!! But that means there won't be any updates that weekend *sorry* but the moment I get back there will be new convention reviews (the old ones will go down - au revoir!) and we'll have new pictures, new stories and of course the YKO update the first chance I get that week I get back!!       Besides that... I'm going to be adding sketches to my art page soon - Black & Whites mostly on line paper - these are rough sketches that I've been doing that I really like but haven't been able to do in a final form like my CGI art. So keep an eye out (they'll be like the Vash & towel one from the other day). Hope you all have a good weekend! And oh yeah - Full Metal Alchemist Manga is out in English now! Yay!!

April 23, 2005 Hello everyone! Sorry it's been so long since my last update, been too busy finishing up AU8 - it's almost done but for a few last minute edits - watch for it next week on Tuesday! ^_^ Meanwhile - while you're waiting for that and the next chapter of B&G (coming soon too) take a look at Catherine's collection of Milly stories for the one titled "Bruises" - it's really REALLY excellent!! (Click here). Some of you may have found it last week when it first went up - sorry I didn't mention it before Catherine-chan - gomenasai!!       For those fans of Susan-chan (I know you're out there!) she's gotten herself inspired by Aine of Knockaine's story "Forever Mine" on ff.net. I've put up her newest drawing from this story, plus a link to Aine's story. The next few fanart drawings that Susan has planned come from this story - check it out all of you Vash/Meryl fans!! It's steamy! *blush* Susan's artwork is really beautiful - Vash certainly behaves for her!!       Now if that doesn't satisfy your need for fanart - not enough Vash for you yet? Look at my fanart page for my newest drawing... Hee hee - time to warm things up around here! Now that spring is here it's time to shuck off the winter coats and slip into something a bit more comfortable. ^_~ *GRINS* Okay okay, I'm bad, I know it - and yet I love it!! My apologies to all of my male visitors - I'll try to get up something a little less girlie next time *GRINS* - I've got a new doujinshi in the works (it's going slowly) that will tend a bit to the darker side of Vash and Knives' past. April 11, 2005 Very quick update today - I have a quick YKO update up today - it has about a fourth of the translations done - most of it will come later this week, there really wasn't much said this time in comparison to the previous chapters so you won't have to wait an entire month for it like last time! Lemme see, what else? Oh yes, I moved the updates for TM#10 and TM#11 to a seperate page to make room for the translations on the main page. I've also changed the format for that page so you can read it straight through. I'll probably be changing the YKO main-page to reflect the same format, only leaving the newest updates at the top so you can read them first, for those of you who have been loyal following them these last few months. ^_^ Besides, makes it a whole lot easier to scroll that way. April 10, 2005 AAAAHHH!!!! YKO for May came today - and I had to show everyone this picture - I think this is the single most haunting picture of Vash I have ever seen throughout the entire manga and I'm just chilled to the bone looking at it. I didn't have time to get the chapter update up tonight but I want you all to know that it will be up in the next few days - I promise! There's so much going on in this one (although mostly action - Levio comes to the rescue of our insurance girls - something's going on with Kuronika - and Vash and Knives are having a heated... and powerful... Well, I don't know all of the details yet, I haven't translated it all yet!!) ACCK!!! This is the first time in awhile I've put up a manga scan... But it was just too... Well, you can see for yourself... Something is going on and I'm not even sure my translations are going to give you all you need to know!! Yikes! Stay tuned for more coming up very soon!!

April 7, 2005 Finally got B&G Ch. 27 up for you! Goodness, this week is just nuts! Have hardly been able to sit down and do anything lately, so my apologies to everyone for waiting so patiently for the new updates. Ch. 28 is well in the works, Susan gave me a sneak peak at it so never fear, she's become a busy bumble bee again when it comes to this story! Heh heh, and I've heard it's going to be over 30 chapters now! O_o       Also this week I've added a Guest Fan Art page. There have been a few submissions already, my apologies that there will not be thumbnails for these images but take a peak and if you get inspired to draw send them to my email address! I love fan art and I'm always looking for story-inspired images, oh, of course manga and anime inspired drawings are a must as well! Thank you to everyone who has submitted already! This is going to be a lot of fun! ^_~

April 5, 2005 Chapter 81 YKO translating is finished!! *whew!* I'm sorry it's taken me nearly the month to get it up, it was quite a long chapter and there was tons of talking to get through. As it stands I understand there are some awkward phrases and it doesn't all make sense, I'm going to see if I might go back through it to smooth it out but you may have to wait depending on whether I get the new chapter this week or not! I never realized how hard it is to translate 30 pages, but now I'm really starting to come to appreciate how much work Sumire and Justin Burns (who does DH's translations) put into it! Of course I liked having them do it instead of me but I get too impatient. *grins* My only annoyance is that I'm just not as good as they are at it. Anyway - new things coming this week (hopefully) should be B&G Ch. 27 and one of Catherine's stories are moving... Hmmmm... For now anyway, that's about it. March 30, 2005 Because I haven't put up a picture here in awhile, I thought I'd share the newest YKO cover with you all. ^_^ Levio is just DA BOMB, don't you think? ^_~ He kinda looks a bit like "Gazelle" with the cowboy hat... But not that much - this is actually a most awesome shot of his "double fang" since he has gone back to using these twin cross-guns after leaving Vash to go fight Elendira. I'm actually quite interested in whether this chapter will have Levio in it at all (one of Nightow's last covers had Legato, but the psychic wasn't even in the chapter!) although I'd imagine he will because we haven't seen anything from Levio for a few months. Obviously I don't have the chapter yet (two weeks!) and I'll update you as soon as I find out more!       In other news I updated the Anime VS Manga page because I knew that there were some outdated answers up there. I've also changed the format around again to include some of my most frequently asked questions - if you've got a question you think everyone could benefit from, let me know and I'll include it. ^_^       Story updates: B&G Ch. 27 will be another week - Susan's on vacation for Easter. AU8 Ch.5 is almost ready... It's slow working - sorry for the wait but I'm sure it will be worth it! Catherine has some shorts in the works for TGDTR, but she hasn't quite told me when they'll be ready - probably once her college breaks for the summer... But maybe we'll luck out! ^_~

March 25, 2005 OK! I've been doing a lot of changes around this site, although the majority of them are all behind the scenes - those of you who have been coming here for awhile might notice a sudden change in my fanart section! If you click on the link you'll be directed to the normal page - only where did all the pictures go?! They've moved to my secondary site (the link is on the page) - I was trying to clear out the cobwebs which meant getting rid of all of the old drawings to make way for the new ones. Never fear - I haven't forgotten any of them! They're all still there for your perusal - just on a new page. PLUS - on the new page there is some new fanart for you to look at!! I've been meaning to put up Jonas, plus there's a link for Dark Vash & his toma - AND a brand NEW drawing of Milly and Wolfwood for you to look at! ^_^ I just finished it yesterday! I hope you all enjoy the brand new artwork and keep your eyes peeled for other new things coming on that page really soon!       I also wanted to thank everyone for their interest in this site over the last few years! I started out as this little fan-girl who couldn't get enough of her favorite subject and finally went crazy - learned how to draw manga, learned how to CG and started learning Japanese just to bring you updates on our favorite manga! Just a little less than two years ago I picked up a pencil and drew Vash for the first time... Who would have known where this all would lead? ^_^ So thank you! And thank you to all of the newbies who email me with their interesting takes on Trigun and all of the wonderful fanart and stories - PS - to those of you who have submitted fanart recently, I haven't forgotten you! I promise to get them up as soon as I get all of my stuff sorted around! Thanks for your patience!! ^_^

March 23, 2005 So I finally received my Trigun Maximum #11 the other day - long time eh? I ended up ordering it straight out of Japan because I gave up waiting for the US stores! So, as usual, I've got translated titles for TM11 up on the YKO page, and of course there will be more translations for Ch. 81 coming soon - I haven't had a spare moment free to do much of anything these last few weeks - busy writing, drawing, editing, translating... Takes a lot of time! But hopefully in the next few days you'll start to see some new changes. ^_^       Now, you're probably wondering what this picture I have posted has to do with Trigun - and you may recognize the style as something Nightow did. Mind you I've seen artists change their artwork before it gets to the published stage, but this was the first time I've ever seen such a drastic change from the YKO chapter to the final chapter. I thought you all might be interested in seeing how this little box went from the picture on the right (which looks kinda like Wolfwood, although we all *know* he's dead, right?) to the one on the left which looks less like Nick... Yet... Kinda like him too because the teeth are similar to Wolfwood's (if you've seen TM10 before his death). However, I have a feeling he changed the character from a Nick-look to look more like a wanderer who appears in one panel in TM#9 - I'm curious why Nightow has drawn him twice though!       Let's see, in update news AU8 Chapter 5 will be going up probably this weekend - more translations (crossing my own fingers here!), plus some new fan art I've been working on - and I'm thinking most of my old stuff will be moving off to make way for the new CG'd stuff... But that's still up in the air. I'm also making ready for manga scans... So keep your eyes peeled. ^_~ And perhaps we'll have a new chapter of B&G? I'm not quite sure, Susan's hoping to get it to me before Easter but if not we'll have to wait another week *sob!* Hope you all have a good holiday!

March 13, 2005 Domo domo!! Howdy everyone! Sorry for such a long hiatus in updating, my sincerest apologies! But good news! The YKO update is up for April! I haven't gotten it all translated yet, but it's officially chapter 1 of series 13 - meaning there WILL be a book thirteen, and you know how good it is to know we have more books to look forward to! Yay!! I've also updated that page with DH's chapter translations for TM4 so we're all up to date for now! ^_^       B&G Ch. 26 is on its way, I'm hoping I might get it up tonight but it depends on whether I run out of time or not (better get to it eh?) ^_~ Also Ch. 4 of AU8: Into the Future is on its way as well. Catherine-chan has started a new TGDTR story so Milly fans - keep an eye out!! ^_^       As for your regular Trigun-news update... Trigun #5 is on preorder at a few of your favorite online stores. Gungrave fans - DVD #5 is due out this month. I guess that's about it for now! Ja ne!

March 4, 2005 Great news everyone! B&G Chapter 25 is up!! WHOOO HOO!! "Into the Future" Ch. 3 is up! "That Girl Don't Think Right" - stories: "The Girl Don't Think Right", "The Burial Shroud", and "After Paradise" are all up as well!! ^_^ Susan-chan, Catherine-chan, and I have been very busy to give you a bunch of new reading material for this weekend! In part I've been waiting to put up most of these for a special thank you to everyone who helped me reach 8,000 hits! So thank you all! Susan's been working hard at finishing up B&G - only a few more chapters left - are you all as excited as I am?? When the last chapter goes up a special doujinshi will go up with it. ^_^ I've been holding onto it for nearly four months now! Catherine-chan has delightfully allowed me to put up her short-stories about our favorite Trigun character Milly - TGDTR has it's own page and she'll be updating it with new stories periodically so keep an eye out! AU8: Into the Future - I'm working on Ch. 4 at present (some of you may have noticed I actually got ch. 3 up earlier this week!) and should be done by next Tuesday if the creeks don't rise!       Also if you visit Catherine's new story home you may notice a new link: ricki.blackestocean.net. Now - before you all go changing your bookmarks to the new page, take note that the geocities address will NOT be moving. The "blackestocean" site will be an off-shoot for pages such as Catherine's stories, eventually Susan's, and also the YKO update page due to the traffic they receive that has had a few of you patiently waiting the hour until there is bandwidth open! When the pages are available through the secondary site I will have links on that page listed by type (such as "fanfiction", "fanart", "information", etc.) Feel free to add this site to your favorites if the links you visit most show up there! March 1, 2005 Domo domo!! We're almost at 8,000 hits!! So close!! Won't you help me hit another thousand? ^_^ Today's wonderful, fantastic, terrific... Okay, I'm blowing my own horn now and I really haven't done that... AU8: "Into the Future" - Chapter 3 is up!! The next few chapters will probably have their own pages so watch for the "skip to" links on the main page as new ones appear. ^_^ I'm hoping for a total of 5, but Susan-chan has rubbed off on me so now the chapters are B&G length (each story used to be about that long in the past). For some reason this chapter took the longest to write so far... Well, you'll see if you've been keeping up on it! ^_^       BTW - there's a graphic for Jonas if anyone would like to see what he looks like. ^_^ I haven't decided where I'm going to put it up yet!

February 27, 2005 TA DA!!! ^_^ Changes are starting to appear on front page now! Like the new graphics? These will be just part of what you will see on the new page, but I wanted to share the joy now! I'm also working on a brand new page for Catherine - called "That Girl Don't Think Right" - it's a collection of short stories about Milly! For too long now Milly has been an overlooked character on Trigun and we're going to give her the due she deserves! ^_~ (Of course, for all of you who've been visiting this website for awhile, you'll know that we give the Insurance Girls a lot of time in the spot light anyway!) Once the page is up there I will be taking submissions for other fanfictions about Milly Thompson so we can spread the Pudding-filled goodness!!       In other news... Have you got your Trigun Maximum #4 yet?! Bookstores are getting them in as you read this so keep an eye out for it!! Also I've been told that the Trigun Anime Manga is out as well, called "The $$60,000,000,000 Man" it's published by Dark Horse with pictures from the anime and little speech bubbles - it's so funny and cute - it may not be as good as watching the anime, but at least it's portable and you can take it to school, work or wherever!! ^_~       Going up this week: TGDTR story collection, Ch. 3 of AU8: "Into the Future", Ch. 25 of B&G, new graphics/illustrations/screencaps.

February 23, 2005 Finished translating Ch. 80 today. ^_^ There's probably a bunch of mistakes so please forgive me, but I think I have the essense for you. ^_^ Really sounds like Vash is ready to END it between him and Knives, even though Knives seems to want to extend things (could it be he's afraid?? Heh heh) Well, I guess we'll see!! A few more weeks and we'll have the next chapter - whoo hoo!!       Story news: Susan's still sick, Ch. 3 of AU8 still being worked on (now that translations are complete it should come pretty soon), and I'm eagerly waiting news from Catherine to post her newest Milly short story. ^_^ It's soooo good.       In other news - I've started work on the new site, there's only two little things up there yet, but if you're curious to see it drop me an email and I'll give you the link - I'm not posting it yet because there's nothing up there really. ^_~ Hope you're all having a good week! February 22, 2005 Howdy everyone! *big wave* Sorry it's been awhile for an update! Ch. 3 of "Into the Future" is in the works - Ch. 25 is getting yet another re-write (held up by a nasty flu)... However - if you're interested in something new to read check out the B&G Extras page - Catherine's got a new story called "The Tithe" - just a little "what if" story with Levio and Milly. ^_^ She's working on a bunch of new shorts too that I'm hoping she'll allow me to have online as well! As you might notice when you go to the extras page there's a new set-up, I've been toying with new layouts so if you like what you see let me know! ^_^       In the news... Gazelle the Peacemaker was designed by Nightow (I'll eat my words now!! Sorry for mis-information!) - I got to look at him in real life (but couldn't afford the $50 price tag) - from what I can see from the Engrish writing on the back (yeah, Engrish - not English...) he does seem to be a Monev-type character, thrown into a set of circumstances he's not entirely in control of... On the Planet Gunsmoke... Sounds like the future but you'll have to look for the back and read it yourself to form your own opinion I guess! Also saw there are actually TWO versions of the Nicholas D. Wolfwood figure - one with "battle damage" one without (although unlike Vash he comes with both heads, sunglasses or without). And oh yes - news is that they're shipping TRIGUN MAXIMUM #4 so keep your eyes peeled for it!!

February 16, 2005 Konnichiwa minna! ^_^ Ooops - gotta get out of the Japanese-mode... Obviously I have a few more lines of translations for you today - just filling in gaps (sorry I don't have page numbers like Sumire, might have to do that soon) - a bit more from young Vash & Knives, the conversation on the ship from Earth - and a few fixes. I have about 3 1/2 pages left to translate now.       In other news Susan has a new picture up today on the Blackfire & Gunsmoke gallery - it's soooo pretty!! It's from Ch. 25... Yeah, the one you don't have yet - but Susan's got it in the works, probably be ready for next weekend or so (she's trying to space them out about every other weekend now) so keep an eye out - closer and closer to the end! Yay! I can't wait to see what happens!! ^_^       One more set of news - I'm not sure how fast this is going to happen, but a good portion of this site is going to be MOVING!!! ^_~ Yay! A new domain - no pop-ups, hopefully no band-width problems, more space... and... manga scans!!! *GRINS* A new look too... That's why I'm not entirely sure how long it's going to take before I'm up and running in the new space. At first you'll probably notice links on the main pages changing to the new site - and I won't completely shut down the main page at Geocities I'll make sure to have a link up right as soon as there's something to link too! I'm so excited! ^_~ Watch for the new updates!!

February 13, 2005 I got it I got it I got it!! TM #10!! WHOO HOO! ^_^ Short update today - got the chapter titles up for TM #10 - the front inner cover of this book was actually used on one of the YKO covers the year before last, I think I may have had it up on this site for a time... not sure though 'cause I don't see it anymore! ^_~ It's a pretty sad book... *sob* Why does Wolfwood have to die over and over???       As you may have noticed when you first checked into the website today - I finally finished the picture I was doing for B&G. ^_^ Goodness but it took me forever!! It used to be I could throw together one of my sketches and just put it up but now I'm doing all of the inking and computer coloring and layers and sheesh! Well, I hope you all like the final result! Dark Vash and his Toma were quite a hoot! Oh - and Marie (Gina) AKA the gal who motivated me to get up the first chapters of AU8 - I've added a link to her website on the front page as well - you have to check it out, it's still new but I'm thinking if someone bugs her and her friend they'll get it updated more often - what do you all think? There's some awesome CG work on there - some really good desktops - and maybe, just maybe, eventually some colored manga scans from yours truly... .But we'll see! Check out BLISS - it's very cool!

February 11, 2005 As most of you may have noticed I've already started getting up the translations - more up tonight so if you haven't checked since yesterday night check it out - I'm getting about two-three pages a day, so out of 24 pages I should have most of it done by next Friday (providing I continue working at that pace!) Lemme see, what else? Oh yes - here's something for you all to check out - New Trigun "capsule" figures - They aren't due to be released in Japan until June 2005, but they're AWESOME looking!! (No insurance girls or Knives though... wonder why?) They aren't piece figures as far as I can tell though (there's quite a few joined figures out on the market now) - you can be sure I'll be buying them when I can! I looked on Nightow's site about Gazelle - he doesn't take credit for making it, and says that it doesn't tie with the manga or anime in any way - I've read that another guy designed it - but then again, who knows? It's got Nightow's "feel" to it. ^_^ There are quite a few pretty cool toys going on the market recently for Trigun - everyone see the PVC Vash watching TV? Check out Anime Nation if you're interested in getting him - I think his face is too goofy... And what's the deal with using Vash's new coats but never giving him black hair??? Come on!! I think it's downright cool that way!! ^_~       In other news... You may notice that the first part of Milly & Meryl AU 8 is up - titled "Into the Future" - I've only posted the first two chapters, more will come (I'm thinking 5 in total) but I'm not finished writing them yet! There will be a new Vash picture coming... I've been so busy I haven't been able to get finished coloring him yet - but if anyone wants to see Young Vash & Knives from Ch. 80, email me, I have some scans ready to send in case anyone is eager for new stuff to look at!       B&G is in the works but Susan is having some major email problems (AKA I haven't heard from her in days now... *pouts*) so I'm not sure when the next chapter is coming - or the new drawing she's been working on... I guess that's all for now - I hope that'll be enough news for you all at the moment! ^_~ Love & Peace!

February 10, 2005 It's here! It came a day early! WHOO HOOO! Okay everyone - if you've been following the YKO updates it's time to check out March's issue - I'll flesh it out more as I translate - there's a LOT of talking going on between Vash and Knives that I haven't the foggiest clue what they're saying - other parts I know from previous conversations... The thing of MOST interest in this chapter is that we finally are told how Vash lost his left arm!!! ^_^ It's the lead-in to before the SEEDs ship picked up Vash in the desert (from TM#3), 80 years after the Big Fall approx. Also, Vash is a pretty big cutie wearing jeans and a tank top!! *squeee!*       As a seperate note, I find it interesting that the boys grew from babies to 12 year olds in the span of a year - BUT... They're aging slowed considerably after that. For 80 years they only reached to about 18 years of age - by 150 Vash's age was estimated at 24. They remained childish looking for quite a long time, which might also account for Vash's penchant for children and being goofy during the first books before Knives came back into the picture. ^_^ Alright - that's all for today - I hope you enjoy! I'll get to work on translations ASAP! ^_^

February 6, 2005 Maaaaaannnnn... I'm so sorry - I thought for sure that the YKO would come on Friday and it never did! *sob* I was all ready for it too - kept my nose to the window until the mailman came and when he didn't put it in the mailbox I nearly chased him down! ACCK!! From what I've been able to gather from other websites this newest chapter is with Knives and Vash right after the Big Fall - a flashback! Well, at least that's what I gather (but don't keep me to my word since I don't have it yet - not until this upcoming Friday anyway...) My TM #10 and #11 haven't come either but if you're looking for manga scans and translations and descriptions I'm sure you'll find them out there - a few of my friends said they're online somewhere even though I haven't looked because I didn't want the spoiler yet! (yet!)       In other news - B&G Chapter 24!!!! YAY!!! I think this one will be a surprise and shock for a lot of people!! I love this chapter, Susan thought it was going to be one of those boring "this leads to that" chapters but she made it into a very amusing and surprising chapter - lots of fun, maybe you'll even spot one of my favorite spots... At least when I get my newest picture up (in the process of being colored now!).       Milly & Meryl AU #8 will be going up in chapters - it's gotten too big for its britches so keep an eye out for the first few chapters soon. Oh and Mabel (congradulations BTW - I said I'd ask if I could post this - but she's engaged! I couldn't wait! ^_~) has four new doujinshi pages she's working on to get up soon! ^_^ So lots of new stuff going on - plus, if any of you have read Immortal Rain - I have a webpage that has one of my drawings of Rain (link on main page) - it may eventually have artwork from other anime/manga as well so keep an eye out for it (and if anyone else has artwork they'd like posted let me know). I guess that's all for now - sorry for the delay everyone! Even I'm a bit disappointed in how little I've been updating! *sob*

January 31, 2005 This is a quickie update today - my friend Nicholas (priest-man!) has been helping me with the Maximum chapter updates on the YKO page since I'm still waiting for my books to arrive - he can't read Japanese so only three of the chapters are titled right now, but at least we know where book #11 ends (Ch. 75 YKO) - meaning there has been approximately 4 chapters of YKO for #12 - meaning it's very possible that if the series ends with this book we have 2-4 chapters left!! YIKES! Can Nightow-sama finish up the fight between Vash and Knives, round up everything with Levio, Legato and Elendira - the Insurance girls - and everyone else on the planet in just 2-4 chapters?! I sure hope there will be a book four! ^_~ That's all today - thanks again Nick! If anyone else has the books and would like to share the chapter titles (if ya know Japanese) let me know otherwise I guess we'll have to wait until I get mine finally!

January 25, 2005 Rumor mill!!! Rumor's have it that there may be a new Trigun anime coming out. This could be a TV show, an OAV, or a movie... This could also be a video game since there was one in production over a year ago. Now, don't take my word for it - I don't have any definitive proof of this - although there is a mysterious new toy that has just gone on the market in Japan: Gazelle the Peacemaker. Here's the link to the site (hopefully it'll still be good for awhile). Chara-net.com Check out - see him for yourself - he's supposed to be an original character (like Dark Vash) so he might not have anything to do with Trigun over just the name and the box - but if you're collecting all the "Planet Gunsmoke" figures this is another must-have! ^_^ I'd love to have the first information for everyone on this site!!

January 23, 2005 Howdy everyone! Staying warm? (BRRRRRRR - winter cold!!) Today's update: Blackfire & Gunsmoke Chapter 23!!! YAY!!! Susan-chan typed her little fingers to the bone in order to get this chapter finished so I could get this chapter up for you this weekend! She also has a new drawing to go with Ch. 22 - Vash and his sister Ember - I got to see her drawing this one, so it's mighty special! I hope you like it - we're getting ever so much closer to the end of this huge epic - and it's been in the works for over a year now! Thanks to everyone who has stuck with the story this long - you won't be disappointed by the ending... we're getting closer! I've also removed her B&G drawings from her page so you'll have to go to the B&G gallery for them (saving on bandwidth!) I hope the change isn't too much of a shock - there's a link on her page now in case you forget. ^_^ (A few of Mabel's older drawings have been removed as well FYI).       Next bit of news - continuing work on the Milly & Meryl AU 8 - fluff!! Whoo hoo! ^_^ It's going to be something of an epic story in itself so there's a possibility that individual chapters will go up before the entire story is put up - so keep an eye out! I have some other little tidbits that I need to add here and there - don't worry, I haven't forgotten all of the little doujinshi and stories I was going to add up here for you, they're just on hold for the new stuff!       No word yet on my TM #10 and #11 - as soon as I receive them there'll be plenty of updates! Everyone I know is working to get their hands on the Japanese copies - so it feels a bit like a race. *grins* Hope you all are having a great winter so far (or summer if you live on the other hemisphere!)

January 15, 2005 I'm back!!! Went on vacation, got to spend some quality writing/drawing/translating time on the train and talk with Susan on her story and see how she draws and colors those terrific pictures! WHOO HOO!! ^_^ Even got to read some really raw parts of B&G in ink on line paper. *smiles* It was awesome! While I was out there I worked on a brand new 1-page doujinshi for you all to peruse - check out the main page for a link - Milly's pudding obsession comes into the B&G world. *grins* It was based on my visit since I've become something of a pudding freak myself! Hee hee.       Next off - YOUNG KING OURS FEB 2005 UPDATE!!! It's up!!! I'm sorry it's a week later than you could have had it, but I took my time trying to translate some of the more important lines. Of course there's more I haven't been able to - I'll update if I get more finished. It's really awesome to see Vash get the upper hand on Knives, something that I've been waiting for in the manga since he might have had it in the anime - but in the manga Knives over-powered him easily in their first battle!       Lemme see... I know the next B&G chapter will be coming sometime next week - and I'm steadily working on the AU, however slowly that steadiness might be! *smiles* Thanks to some of my new fans to this site - Chilly and Nicholas for dropping me emails! I love answering questions when I can! Everyone is free to email me, I write back ASAP when I see "Trigun" in the subject line! ^_^ And oh! If anyone has been following "Immortal Rain" - my personal Trigun-like manga series from Tokyopop - check out book #4 for some very simliar drawings - but a more romantic outcome with the two main characters! January 6, 2005 Hello Hello everyone! Today I am proud to announce that "SIMPLICITY" Chapter 8 is up!!! Thank you Catherine-chan for putting up this brand new chapter of one of my personal favorites! Hee hee, this is I believe the first or second chapter that has only been available on THIS SITE since she took it down from FF.net. (I'm so proud - HUGGLES!!) Lots of fluff but a good amount of seriousness too - I rate this chapter 4 out of 5 stars (because no Vash.... *wink*) Take a gander!       Well, I'm sorry to say that there won't be any updates until probably next Friday when the YKO shows up because I'm going to be out of town! But on the plus side Susan's been working on Ch. 23 and 24 and I've seen some roughs of them - veeeeeerrrry cool! I can't wait to show you! Plus I've got a new YKO scan up on the manga scan page so check that out too - it's CGI'd, and I even translated it - it's from Ch. 78 Trigun Maximum - gooooooooo VASH! ^_^

January 4, 2005 Happy New Year! (Akemashite Omadetou Gozaimasu!) Welcome to the NEW Otaku ramblings and updates page as promised! All of the old updates are still here, I only put them into seperate files now so you can still read everything from 2004 and 2003 if you so please. ^_^ I can't believe how far this website has come in so little time! I hope you'll stick with me through this next year because this year is bound to have the end of Trigun Maximum plus more English releases as we get closer to the Japanese releases. It'll probably be upwards a month until I get my copies of #10 and #11 but be sure I'll keep you all updated when I do so you'll have something to look forward to!       Other things to look for this week: Chapter 22 of B&G (Susan sent it to me today, I'll probably have it up today unless she sends me any last minute changes). A new drawing by Mabel will also be going up. Chapter 8 of "Simplicity" will go up sometime this week when Catherine's finished editing... Hmmmmm... I believe that's it unless my YKO shows up on Friday and then you'll be getting that one too! Lots more to come, stay tuned!

December 31, 2004 HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! So here's the last entry for this year, can't believe we're here already. Goodness has a lot happened, hasn't it? ^_^ So much more goodness is sure to come too!! I hope everyone has a really great new year!       Since this is the last day of 2004, as promised I've made some changes on my site already as you may have noticed. (Like the colors?) "Chocolate to Die for" has been removed - the short story will be going up in it's place, although you can still request the doujinshi if you email me (I'm not a scrooge, I only have just so much space unfortunately!) My links have been updated to add some anime/manga stores you can get Trigun Maximum, Young King Ours, that sort of thing. ^_^ Sharing the love... Christmas pics are down but you can still see Mabel's on her page, mine and Susan's will go up on our respective pages shortly as well. The Trigun manga guide will be going up on the YKO page shortly. Other changes will start taking place on our art pages, keep an eye out for new stuff as well as old stuff going "bye bye"...Guess that's all I have planned for now. ^_^       In Trigun news (the reason I was on here to update in the first place - sheesh, I get side-tracked!) check out Nightow's website. Electrice Flier 12/27 has got a new Wolfwood picture up right now... And also clean covers for TM #10 and #11. And they're bigger then the little covers I have on my site so you can see 'em better. What I'm wondering however, is if Nightow has changed his website's main picture from Vash to Wolfwood... and Wolfwood is supposed to be dead... Does that mean maybe he isn't??? *hmmmmm* Nightow talks very very rarely about Trigun on his site at all, mostly just various ramblings on daily life - I'm kinda amazed at that because I know if I were a famous manga-ka I'd probably be chatting away about my work... well, maybe. ^_^ Then again, I do ramble on other things in here too so who knows?
