| December 31, 2004 HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! So here's the last entry for this year, can't believe we're here already. Goodness has a lot happened, hasn't it? ^_^ So much more goodness is sure to come too!! I hope everyone has a really great new year! Since this is the last day of 2004, as promised I've made some changes on my site already as you may have noticed. (Like the colors?) "Chocolate to Die for" has been removed - the short story will be going up in it's place, although you can still request the doujinshi if you email me (I'm not a scrooge, I only have just so much space unfortunately!) My links have been updated to add some anime/manga stores you can get Trigun Maximum, Young King Ours, that sort of thing. ^_^ Sharing the love... Christmas pics are down but you can still see Mabel's on her page, mine and Susan's will go up on our respective pages shortly as well. The Trigun manga guide will be going up on the YKO page shortly. Other changes will start taking place on our art pages, keep an eye out for new stuff as well as old stuff going "bye bye"...Guess that's all I have planned for now. ^_^ In Trigun news (the reason I was on here to update in the first place - sheesh, I get side-tracked!) check out Nightow's website. Electrice Flier 12/27 has got a new Wolfwood picture up right now... And also clean covers for TM #10 and #11. And they're bigger then the little covers I have on my site so you can see 'em better. What I'm wondering however, is if Nightow has changed his website's main picture from Vash to Wolfwood... and Wolfwood is supposed to be dead... Does that mean maybe he isn't??? *hmmmmm* Nightow talks very very rarely about Trigun on his site at all, mostly just various ramblings on daily life - I'm kinda amazed at that because I know if I were a famous manga-ka I'd probably be chatting away about my work... well, maybe. ^_^ Then again, I do ramble on other things in here too so who knows? December 28, 2004 Howdy howdy everyone! I hope you all had a terrific Christmas!! Get everything you were hoping for? ^_^ Got all of the Trigun manga that's been released in English? Well, I'm happy to announce to all you Maximum fans out there that Shonengahosha just released Max #10 and #11 in Japan yesterday, I've posted one of the two covers here, the other cover is on my YKO page - check it out especially if you like Wolfwood! I'm looking for a place to preorder from here in the USA - I've been talking to Sasuaga Bookstore where I get most of my manga anyway and they said as soon as they could they'd get it online. ^_^In otherh news, about two weeks from now we'll have our newest YKO update - finally back to Vash and Knives... I hope! ^_~ Then again, knowing Nightow, he could just skip over to some other characters... *sigh* Heh heh heh. Susan-chan is still out of town at present - I hope you've all read "Interlude" while you're waiting for Ch. 22!! I'm hoping we'll be able to get up that chapter sometime in the next two weeks as well *cross your fingers!* Other than that... Changes changes are coming!! I'm a bit crazy so look out!! *giggles* ^_~ The first of these changes is on the Trigun Manga Scan page - I've added a new desktop from TM #9 as well as more TM covers. I've moved the whole page to my side site so keep an eye out for more pictures! | December 23, 2004 Susan-chan just lost her father this week - our prayers are with her and her family. Because of the stress due to this and the holiday season, I hope you all will forgive me if there are no major updates in the next few weeks... EXCEPT... Catherine wrote us a new story "Interlude" which is a cross-over story between Double Helix by Deleria and Blackfire & Gunsmoke... It should go up tomorrow evening after the last crazy shopping day I have to work through. The link to it will be on the main page in the fanfiction area - I won't update the ramblings for it, so keep an eye out! | December 15, 2004 Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone!!! I know (I'm about a week early) but since I work the "dreaded retail" and I have a wedding to be in next week, I probably won't be on here again before the holiday unless Mabel gets her comic finished for me to get up *please please!* So in the meantime, I put up a little Vash picture up on the main page, something I concocted yesterday, Vash fits so well in the Christmas theme since he already has the red coat!! ^_~ My apologies there are no new chapters of B&G due to the holidays (although... there has been word of a special something which may be finished before the 25th... ^_~) And of course all my plans for the new year for this website - don't worry, your favorites will still be here (of course new YKO updates in Jan.!) More drawings, more stories, more pictures - and who knows what else Susan, Mabel and Catherine will have in store for us? Lots I'm sure!! We might even have more special guest artists - if you draw send it in and you'll be the special one! I'll also host stories, essays or other Trigun ramblings if anyone has the notion but not the know-how to webpage. ^_^ There are also plans in the works for a spin-off site for Gungrave. I have a few ideas but haven't gotten too much gathered up to make the site - but as I said, bunch of ideas for new things in the upcoming year so keep checking back!! | December 11, 2004 I put up a new picture on the top of the YKO update page - just the latest "look" of Vash from Ch. 78. Unfortunately Ch. 79 will not be out until the end of December/January - I received January 2005 YKO today, but besides 50 pages of Excel Saga, and a truly bloody and insane Hellsing chapter - there really wasn't much of interest in there. Oh pooh!!! I guess Nightow needs to take breaks once in awhile too - but *pouts* - not when Vash is finally getting to the final show-down with Knives!!! I wish I had more to update everyone - I feel like I've been slacking - but there are some things in the works - the biggest two are secrets for the time being - so keep watching here for it! And yes, the next G&F AU is in the works! I've just started writing it today, plus what Catherine has been writing for me. ^_^ Although - here's something you might be interested in: Dark Horse is supposed to be releasing Anime manga books this month - the first half of the anime series, and a special Wolfwood extra... As far as I know - if anyone finds it let me know, I haven't actually seen it, only read about it on the DH site. Otherwise - that's really all the info I've got! | December 6, 2004 Count-down to Christmas!! As you may have noticed today I've put up a special Christmas picture from Susan-chan. These next few weeks we'll have more holiday related pictures - Mabel's planning a one-page doujinshi, I'm supposed to be doing something as well... haven't figured out what yet however! So I guess we'll just have to see!! ^_^ No new news on the Trigun front unfortunately - seems everytime they take it off CN it gets quiet online. And B&G Ch. 22 is going to be another few weeks - if you're the praying kind keep Susan's father in your prayers - she's going through a rough time right now. Hope all is well with you! | November 29, 2004 Hello Hello once again! I'm sorry it took me so long to get an update - but here it is! B&G Chapter 21!! Hurray!!! Everyone get their update mailer? If ya didn't let me know and I'll put you on the list. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I'm part of the unfortunate ones who work retail so the day after and all of this weekend I was stuck with all of the grumpy, snapping, tooth-and-nail customers! I don't personally get why people get so mean when they shop, if they want to shop during this time of year, they have to know that it's going to be busy right! Heh heh - sometimes I want to just invite Wolfwood to stand guard at the front door, Cross Punisher at the ready - lay some Holy Smack Down with his Mercy!! ^_^ In the upcoming weeks: Christmas themed drawings by Susan, Mabel and myself - Susan's will go up first, probably this week. ^_^ Ch. 22 is about half-finished. By the first of the year there will be a lot of changes on the site - you may have noticed some of the old drawings are disappearing already. My doujinshi will be replaced sometime in the new year by something very special ^_^... Updates on Trigun Maximum #10 and #11 at the end of December... That sort of thing. Oh, and Catherine is helping me to write the #8 G&F AU story so that may even be up by New Years. | November 20, 2004 Gunsmoke and Feathers AU: Part 7, "Best Laid Plans" is up and ready to read!! As a special try-out it has a few illustrations too! ^_^ I hope you like them, as a special present to Susan-chan for our 1-year anniversary on this site, I've some of my newest drawings and CGI work for you to look at as you read! | November 19, 2004 Just a short update today - just some interesting news about Nightow-sensei (as most people on his site call him)! His website had been kind of in the lurch since the anime came out but just recently he's updated it, in fact, on November 15 he got it running again! Nightow-sensei is doing a running "blog" or diary of each day so far, which is pretty interesting if you can read Japanese, if you can't, and that's okay too, there's a few interesting pictures of the "final manga" pages for books #10 and #11 that are going into print, a few pictures of Nightow's "The Incredibles" toy collection too. ^_^ YES - Nightow-sensei has gone to see the movie "Mr. Incredible" as it's named in Japan and even has a link to the Disney site on his page! | November 17, 2004 Today's updates include... A few translation edits on YKO 12/04... A new picture by Susan-chan featuring Dark Vash - from Ch. 19 (I've been waiting until she fixed it to get it up for awhile now). Let's see... What else? Susan-chan, Mabel-sempai and myself are all going to be putting up some holiday pics to share with you in these upcoming weeks! If anyone else has some special holiday pics of our favorite characters please send them my way!! Ricki Oh oh! And I'd say by the weekend "Gunsmoke and Feathers" number 7 will be up for you all. ^_^ I worked my tail feathers off for this one but haven't done a final edit as of yet! Keep an eye out for the continuing adventures of Milly, Meryl and the crew!! Oh - and there will be one more picture to go up with it as well. Hmmmmmm... Is that it? OH! B&G Ch. 21 is currently in the editing stage. I can't promise it this week but probably by next week! In releases news - English Translation of TM#4 is set for Febuary 2005. DH is also releasing a "anime manga" part one (think the color Spirited Away manga that came out last year) - taking the pictures directly from the anime in order to make a manga. There is also a short 25 page excerpt for Wolfwood set to come out in December as well (for a whopping 25 cents! I have a feeling it will come out in "comic-book form" and you'll have to really search for it or order it... Only pictures from the anime as far as I'm told.) | November 14, 2004 Good news, and bad news... Good news, the edited version of B&G Chapter 10 is up today. Bad news is as that as I was doing translating today I'm pretty sure I've got the update wrong *sob* so some of the wording will probably change over this next week. BUT - what I did translate correctly was that Nightow is taking a break next month so NO NEW YKO for JANUARY. Maximum will be back in February. For those of you eagerly following along, that means besides my translation fixes, there won't be a new update until the second week in January on that page - *sob* - just when things were getting good too!! On a side note - the Trigun Episode guide and chapter guide has been corrected to accurately portray Dark Horse's chapter titles for TM#3. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| November 13, 2004 WHOO HOO! YKO DECEMBER 2004 IS UP!! I did some translating work on this one, and even though I'm almost positive I didn't get it right (sob) I tried my darndest to give you the "feeling" of what is being said if nothing else. This is so much fun!! ^_^ Next off - the news is in YKO that both Trigun Maximum #10 AND #11 will be released together on December 27. For all of you who can read Japanese, this means preordering at some websites might be available soon. For those waiting for the English release, well, at least we won't have to wait when Dark Horse finally catches up! There are some pretty awesome scenes in Chapter 78, let me know if you have any scan requests! Next off to look for - B&G Ch. 10 and 11 have edits. Susan also has her Dark Vash picture she's finally finished I'll be putting up as well. So you'll have something to tide you over until Ch. 21 comes out (it's in the works but even I haven't read this one yet, not even in beginning stages!) The last thing to look for is a change in fanart pages in the upcoming months. Susan and I are going to be taking down some of our older pieces to make room for new stuff - like the little piece that went up on the front page today. ^_^ If you like anything up there be sure to save yourself a copy because once it's gone - it's gone! We'll take requests for old drawings, I will have them on backup. | November 7, 2004 Hello Hello Everyone!! Today's updates include the third and final page of B&G's Chocolate to Die For - link on the front page - it'll only be up until the end of the year so make sure you check it out while you can! I had a lot of fun doing this for Susan's short story, CTDF - the story will go up in the doujin's place (due to file size). The story was so awesome I had to do the comic version of it. ^_^ As for more doujinshi goodness... Mabel's "Look Past" continues on with page 10!! As she put it, "it's a progression of time" - but the page is very well composed and I really love the expression on Meryl's face!! I'm sure you'll love it too! There's more to come from what I've heard! Next up - Ch. 20 will be going up on Tuesday (or maybe Monday night...if you're good *smiles*). Can't give you everything at once or I wouldn't be able to update as often as I do! The YKO update should be up next weekend... The magazine usually gets to me either the first or second Friday of the month (and it didn't come the first one...) | November 1, 2004 | Quick update today! But all good! ^_^ And also - word is that Ch. 20 of B&G is coming sometime later this week - Susan-chan is back from vacation and busting her buns for everyone! *grins* Look for it! | October 31, 2004 | More updates already!! Mabel-sempai has been keeping busy!! There's another one for her up now titled "Meryl" - it's Meryl writing... I think the kanji is for "arm" but I haven't asked her yet to see (although it's the closest thing in my kanji book!). ^_~ She's just been coming out with some of the most fabulous drawings again!! Can't keep a good girl down! Next news, I have the first two pages of CTDF up now - they aren't going to be linked via a thumbnail page until they are all up. Hope no one minds, it's a work in progress! First time I've actually worked on coloring multiple manga pages. The coloration isn't as good as I'd like but goodness... when it takes 3 hours to do each one... Also the 'artifacts' (little black smudges in white areas) are pretty bad because I compressed them into JPG files. I've been careful about it for some of my other art - so my apologies there. There's also one new artist I'm trying to encourage onto this site... "Krazy Q" is what he's signed some of his artwork as - the comic artist from "Ballistic Kitty" if anyone went to Ohayocon in 2003 you would have seen his work in the program. He hasn't seen Trigun yet (gasp!) but drew me a real nice little pic of Vash. ^_^ So I'll keep you all updated there! I may have to just make a page for more fan art - if anyone else has artwork they'd like to share I'll start a collection and get one going!! ^_^ | October 29, 2004 | Two new drawings from Mabel today! Hurray!! I love to share her artwork with you all because it's just so beautiful! You can find them both on her page and one of them also on the B&G page since it has to do with Ch. 12's wedding. ^_^ Now all three of us artists have done something for this ultra-cool couple - Milly and Wolfwood!! Work on AU7 is going along. There will be more pictures to come as well! Got a lot of fun things in the works in these upcoming weeks! Like the brand new YKO update in probably a week and a half since it was just released "today" in Japan. Still no word about Maximum #10 - the spot on the website they usually announce it changed to Excel Saga so I'm not sure what's going on!! I sure hope DH hasn't screwed things up for the Japanese fans! My last little announcement, and at maybe this is a wee bit early but - YAY we're at 6,000 hits!!! ^_^ The first page of "Chocolate to Die For" Doujinshi goes online now!!! See the link on the front page - the next two pages will be revealed as soon as they're colored. But they won't have a permanent home in a gallery yet so keep your eye out!! | October 26, 2004 | You might notice as you checked the site today that I have a real "summer-y" drawing up on the front page. As a tease, I've put this drawing up to announce that I'm working on the Milly and Meryl AU #7. ^_^ Besides the fact that they're just soooooo cute. *grins* I've got more artwork coming as promised in the next week or so. The YKO December update in about two/three weeks (depending on when the magazine arrives!) plus a few translation updates as I go along because I'm really starting to get disappointed by Justin's Dark Horse translations. If anyone gets confused reading TM#3 (which the official due-date is sometime in November, although you can order online some places) let me know because there are a few places that are cropping up that are kind of iffy. B&G will be back in a week/two weeks as well - Susan-chan is on a vacation of sorts and even though Ch. 20 is well on its way to being completed, it's not in the final stages quite yet. I caught up to her too quickly so just think of it as waiting for the book to be released in Japan and not translated yet. *grins* So I guess you'll just have to put up with my writing for the time being! Heh heh - okay okay, that's not that funny... *pouts* ^_~ Sorry about the lull in news recently - R.O.D. TV is airing on Tech TV right now as well as Gungrave (they're going back and forth during their Anime Unleashed hour every night) - (CN's AS lineup: R.O.D. OAV was just on last Saturday and Animatrix will be on next week - and I've heard that Ghost in the Shell should be coming soon as well as the much anticipated Full Metal Alchemist which I've been mentioning for over a year now but darn it, it's gotten so popular now that it's not as 'special' as it was to me!) For those who don't get Tech TV, the first two Gungrave DVDs are out an the third one is due out Nov. 9 (which puts you right up with what they've aired on the telly - did anyone catch that there are tomas on that planet!!?) *grins* Too cool. But that's all the anime news I have for you right now - I should be doing an advanced notice for the YKO release this weekend. I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween in the meantime!! | October 17, 2004 | Howdy do everyone!! ^_^ Chapter 19 of Blackfire & Gunsmoke is finally here! Sorry about the time between chapters, Susan and I went through this one with a fine tooth comb looking for errors - very much edited this time! Pretty interesting little revelations in this chapter, and much much more to come in Ch 20 - however, I haven't even read that one yet! Next off, we've got a special piece of art from Susan in her and the B&G art sections! Look for "Milly's Eye" - she did a really awesome job of it! And also a Nicholas & Dark Vash from Ch. 18/19... There was another piece that went with Ch 19, but unfortunately, it's gone back for some redos, so it'll have to wait until next week. There is though, also something from yours truly in the B&G section. ^_^ Not taken from the story per se, it's a small doujinshi with Dark Vash and Rinnah. The coloration is, unfortunately, very amateur, but it will give you a small taste of what is to come for B&G.... *drumroll please* Doujinshi status!! Well, at least a bit of it. The special treat I will have for everyone come 6,000 hits - there's three more pages to come! Oh, and in the meantime - I've also put a new one up on my page called "Uncertain Future" - a Milly and Wolfwood painting. ^_^ Enjoy! | October 13, 2004 | After a third sucessful manga class, I've finally found some time to do some new sketches, and although they aren't ready to go online yet, they should by the weekend. Susan's working diligently for chapter 19 and it's almost ready plus two more pieces of art as well. ^_^ I wish I had more time but goodness, I'm working on so many projects right now I haven't been able to get on here as much as I want! (Hi to Alissa, Angela, and Samantha, my last three students! ^_^) What did everyone think of the newest YKO update? Like? ^_^ I can't wait for next month already - so exciting! But in the meantime, I just found out that Gungrave is airing on Tech TV at midnight (Eastern) - it took the place of Read Or Die yesterday, so if you didn't catch it last night, you could still catch up pretty fast. I'm such a fan of this series now (but don't worry, I'm not changing the site!) but I figure it's not being unfaithful to Trigun because it's still Nightow! ^_^ Check it out - you'll see some familiar critters from Trigun come Thursday night!! Well - gotta go, have something special up my sleeve for all you Milly and Wolfwood fans! Can't wait to show you!! | October 9, 2004 | Gomenasai!! Sorry for how long it's taken for an update everyone! Sheesh... Eleven whole days what was I thinking?! ^_~ Well, I've got good news, and more good news!! Hee hee - first off, the November Young King Ours update is up! Whoo-hoo! (There is a bit of bad news, no fight between Legato and Vash - even though Legato is on the front cover!) It should be an interesting read if nothing else. There's no real interesting pages to scan so I've got nothin' this time to share with you translated. Haven't found out if Sumire is going to translate this one or not since she's already gotten behind again. (Please please Sumire!) Next bit of news is that TRIGUN MAXIMUM #3 is out! Yay!! A whole lot earlier than we'd first expected! Susan-chan told me the news, and according to Amazon.com it's supposed to be released this upcoming Saturday - so if you've got a bookstore that gets them early, check into it, or order it from Animenation.com. This book has got to be my most favorite just because you get to see lots of Vash with his hair down - he's so kawaii!!! (Or should I say "kokoii"? ^_~) Third bit of news is that the release date for TM#10 is still pending as of the printing of YKO this month! >_< URG. At least last month it said it was in production, and now they added the "pending release date" tag onto it. Ugg! Why must they do this to us!? It's been over a year since 9 came out! Next news is that I've been working on two short doujinshi for B&G, in color, to go up when we reach 6,000 hits! Getting close! ^_~ I don't have the second one in color yet, but for those of you who liked Rinnah's Chapter 0, you ought to like what happened before! The script and dialog was written by Susan herself, I just put it into doujinshi form, the first one I wrote myself, just a single page, the second is a three-pager with Rinnah and Jammer. I can't wait to show you, but working 40 hours a week has cut my update time down to a minimum! I hope you'll all forgive me! ^_~ | September 29, 2004 | Chapter 18!!! Hot off the presses!! Just got it from Susan yesterday, didn't sit on it very long at all this time. *smiles* And here's something special, today's chapter includes Knives and Meryl... YES... They finally make an appearance! Don't worry, you'll see a lot more of them coming up - I know everyone was dying to see when they'd appear again since they were the main focus of Double Helix. No worries - Susan's on a roll, I guarantee you!! ^_~ I've got a few surprises coming soon too to celebrate the 6,000 mark on my site! Been working on a doujinshi for B&G - in COLOR... YUP! I can't wait to show you all, but we've got to get to that next mark before I'm going to post it! Heh heh heh. Probably be a week and a half to two weeks before I get my hot little hands on it, but as soon as I do you can be sure to have the update! It's got Legato-sama on the cover looking evil as always but in that cool Nightow way! I'm really looking forward to this one - it's finally the big showdown between Vash and Legato - I think! O_o No word on the release for TM#10 yet... sheesh - the art better be darn good in there! ^_~ Can't wait to share all of the news with you - very exciting! In other news I'm going to be updating my Manga/Anime reccomendations this evening - check it out. A couple new ones I'd highly encourage you to check out - "Immortal Rain" - if you like Vash/Meryl, this comic has that real warm/angsty feel to it and the characters are very similiar - Rain and Machika are some of my new favorites! I've got some new art by Mabel tonight! Whoooo hooo!! And I'm checking to make sure that it's not gone "wonky" ^_~. My apologies that her pictures have been having problems lately - heh heh, my fault. I put them up too fast without checking sometimes! Actually, I usually don't check - so I encourage anyone to let me know if they find a broken link or a picture that doesn't pull up correctly. There is just so much here that sometimes I can't keep it all straight! But today's newest is Mabel's "Sleep, Angel" - it's another watercolor and is just beautiful! She's told me that the next part of her "Look Past" Doujinshi is coming as well so keep an eye out for it! Chapter 17 is being prepared to go up as we speak. It will probably be later this week - I hope everyone can wait that long! There will also be two shorts coming for B&G, just a few little things I've been throwing together for Susan to fill gaps. The first one is "The Party" - a little "this is what happened" when Milly tells Rinnah about the party she slept through... And another one taking place during Ch. 17 - thus the reason it will all go up at the same time. ^_^ Last piece of info today is that "Gungrave" DVD #2 is out. BUT... I'm never too sick to put up some new pictures for everyone!! Mabel's been very busy recently so I have two new pieces from her - the first one is page 8 from her Doujinshi "Look Past" - the plot thickens!! Email her and bug her for more! ^_~ The next one is another watercolor project she did for Blackfire & Gunsmoke - it's in her gallery and the B&G gallery - Milly and Rinnah "Flying". A lot of fun, lot of cool artwork from Nightow and cool music from Tsuneo Imahori (Trigun, Gungrave CD) - in fact, the music on the game is the same from the Anime so if you pick up "Righthead" and "Lefthead" (released in US in Nov.) you'll have the music from the game!! I'm just as much in love with this series lately (but Trigun's still #1!!) | September 14, 2004 | I hoped to have a bigger update today but I came down with the flu -icky icky- but I have managed to get up a terrific fanfiction piece for B&G that Ian (aka IRS) wrote for Susan called "On Finding Peace". If you haven't read his "Rise of the Silver Stars" I'd suggest you should because it's just terrific - picks up right after the anime ends and you get to meet all of the old Trigun characters again - it's just AWESOME! I didn't go into it in as much depth this time, because of Sumire's page - but I pointed out a few things I thought was particularly interesting. ^_^ I've got some pretty interesting things coming your way in the next week or so - first off is more artwork from yours truly - you might have noticed the changing front page - this newest piece will remain up probably until October - Rinnah and Dark Vash. ^_^ I drew the original image, scanned it and colored it using Paint Shop Pro 7. I just received a brand new fanfiction piece based on B&G as well from Ian (aka IRS) - that will be put up soon as well. I have a fanfiction too I think I'll get up at the same time (lots to read while you're waiting for Ch. 17!!) I've also heard from Susan that she will have a few new art pieces for the story - she's been pretty faithful recently about having a drawing to go with each chapter. Blackfire & Gunsmoke Ch. 16!! HURRAY!!! Another addition to the epic this story has become - and we're not done yet, word is Susan is working on 18 at present and the story might go as far as 25 chapters - but even she's not sure! ^_^ This is so exciting... We're finally getting to see a peek into Knives' life... Now things are coming back full circle to deal with where deleria ended Double Helix. Also put up my short story "Sureshot Lin" which is a short about Vash. I have a few more that are like this up on fanfiction.net - under the "Gunbarrel Stories" heading - but eventually I'll get them up here because ff.net has been disappointing me as of late. It deals with my new favorite GHG (behind Wolfwood of course) Levio the Double Fang. I understand that it might be difficult to understand Levio if you've only caught information elsewhere online - because I don't believe Sumire has translated Max #9 (although I haven't checked in a few days). Anyway, so if you get confused and want to know more about Levio, feel free to drop me a line since today's update has everything to do with him (and Elendira) and really nothing to do with any of the other characters. OR - go to my "Anime versus Manga" page and I have a bit more detailed description of his backstory. I can understand why Vash allowed Levio to live after he killed Wolfwood - he's got a "feel" to him as if he really is a GOOD guy - and for once, unlike the other GHGs, Levio was given the chance to change and DID. ^_^ | September 1, 2004 | YAY!!! A new Chapter for Blackfire & Gunsmoke!! Ch. 15 is up and ready for your perusual! Go on, take a gander - then swing past Susan's art gallery and the B&G Gallery for pictures of your favorite characters drawn by the author herself! They're VERY beautiful and I'm sure you'll get a kick out of her newest one of Livia! (Hint hint - he's related to the 13th Gung-ho Gun!) Another new addition is in my own art gallery - Vash and Meryl - Vash and Meryl's outfits are taken from Ch. 71 of Trigun Maximum - it's really fun drawing his new coat. ^_^ For everyone's information - after Meryl and Milly split up from Vash and Wolfwood, they never wear they're "usual" outfits again. I've heard that Nightow realized his blunder in giving them such gigantic weapons that they weren't "real" enough - and that could be one of the reasons. Another I've guessed is that since the world has gone to pits because of Knives, Bernadelli is gone and the girls are just living in October (? I believe) the largest city left of the seven cities - so I'd imagine under the circumstances they've grabbed whatever they can. Hmmmm AND there's one more wonder I've had - anyone see Last Exile? Meryl's outfit looks like Lavie's - and the people coming from Earth have outfits similar to the Guild... Coincidence or not? ^_^ | August 31, 2004 | WOAH!! I'm seeing a trend here! I'm now up to August's edition of YKO. The Sept. edition is already out in Japan but it will be awhile before I'll be able to get it. I know, I know, copyright restrictions - I'm trying not to put too many scanned pictures because of the laws around that kind of thing. This stuff is great! ^_^ I was reading an old update on Sumire's website where she was talking about getting the newest YKO and getting all teary-eyed there in the store.... I know how it feels! After too many months to count I finally gave up waiting for the next Trigun Maximum to be released in collected form and started collecting Young King Ours - the publication that serializes TM. So I've made a page with those I've gotten so far, doing just a brief description of what's going on in each issue. I'm still too new at translating however, so facts may be a bit off, my apologies, I'll correct them if I find out differently - as well as you may find out more by visiting the "Little Lightbulb in Your Soul" site by Sumire - she translates YKO. However, she's been a bit too busy to update recently so I have two issues past where she's translated. They're just brief descriptions of action and a TINY bit of dialog since that's all I can read so far. I've got two more on the way and I should be keeping that page updated once a month as more are released. As far as I can tell we're on book 11 of possibly 12 - things are wrapping up pretty quickly! "Safe Haven" her brand new watercolor is up today! It's so beautiful you just have to go take a look at it if you haven't already. I have no idea how she managed such brilliant colors but it sure is terrific!! Wow, it's nice to have such talented friends! Yay! I think, from now on, I'm sticking with digital manga... Quite the hullabaloo trying to get Home Sweet Home printed as a book that I'm not sure I want to do it again on my own. Urg. Kinko's wasn't much of a help - he wanted it all in digital format (my file's too big for a disk) - Office Max copied it but the photocopier went so fast that it didn't do a very nice job... So I'm stuck between a digital rock and a very expensive hard place!! Eeek! If it wasn't so expensive to buy ink cartridges for my printer I'd do them on my own start to finish... But enough of my rambling, enjoy the comics online because they're really nice and I'm sure there will be more of them in the future... I used to want to get it, until I picked it up and started to read their "facts" pages - because they don't know a think past the anime!! Other Nightow related stuff: Gungrave #1 DVD is out now (it's really good, I highly recommend it, especially if you liked all of Spike's dealings with the Syndicate this will be right up your alley) the second one is due out September 9 I believe. All the same animators, producer, writer and even music are the same as Trigun so it's really well put together and has a Trigun Maximum 'feel' to it - prettier in some ways. I will have some more "Home Sweet Home" coming next week (I'll be on vacation so will have time for drawing!) - I'm working on #22 today, hopefully out of #30 from the looks of it. Welcome to my wonderful, terrific blissfully clean new Otaku ramblings page!! I've got not only Ch. 11 of Blackfire and Gunsmoke - I've got fanfiction extras from Catherine found in the new B&G Art Gallery and Fanfiction page!! The story is just cool! Two thumbs up!! Hee hee! I'm so excited to be able to share all of this with you all! This story has become so huge! Susan-chan has been typing her little fingers to the bone to get this out to you! I'm sure you'll love what she has in store for our little wandering band of misfits! ^_~ As soon as my job permits... Just doing some research tonight and realized that the site's true birthday is June 12, 2003 when I put my first two pieces of fan art up! Goodness... | June 23, 2004 Quickie update today: Finally named my doujinshi I've been working on - it's now titled "Home Sweet Home" - the old page 5 is actually the beginning now (when the group makes it to New Orlando) - the new page 9 is up today. ^_^ I'm a manga-machine! Nah... I'm doing alright, it's just that I've been dying to work on all of the new screentones I've picked up recently so of course I have to draw the panels to use them... *grins* Look for some new stuff coming up in the next week or so. What will happen with Milly and Vash? I've also added a new drawing titled "What I am" - my first attempt at layers on Paint Shop Pro 7 - working at it slowly - CG is fun! Heh heh. | June 18, 2004 Hard to believe this site's been up for a year! But it has! Thanks to everyone who has been visiting over this year and everyone who will continue to watch my little site grow into something not quite so little! There's a lot of changes from the beginning. At first it was only going to house my artwork, now I have two other artists, I have a bunch of fanfiction from Susan (hope I don't confuse everyone using her handle "Dwellin" at the beginning) and myself, links, pictures, episode guides... And I'm planning on making a "Vash's Coat Gallery" soon - look for that one. ^_^ It's been a pretty awesome year! And I plan on keeping this site up and running until everything Trigun has been released in the USA... At least that's my plan!! New stuff for today - three new pictures from Susan in the Blackfire and Gunsmoke Gallery! Oh my goodness!! Her latest is just so beautiful! Of course I have a crush on "dark Vash" so it only makes sense I'd like her red-eyed dark Vash! Usually she keeps those beautiful greens... *grins* But he certainly looks sharp with red too! For other new things - "Fermentation" is complete on Fanfiction.net. Chapter 11 is getting close to being released... | June 16, 2004 Quickie update today: Just put up the 11th page of my Milly x Vash Doujinshi... I keep thinking I'm going too slow with this, because I know most doujins out there jump right into the action. It's hard to do when you've got normal pairings for four characters, it's hard to switch them around without having someone fuss over it! I keep getting hits from people searching for "Milly x Wolfwood" doujins... heh heh - nope, although I've considered doing that too. I'm still not that great at drawing Nicholas however much I'm practicing. Anyway - page 11 is up, 8 is working now, a few of them have been updated to typed text, I've tried to keep the pages large (no matter how much space they're using on this website) just so that they're still readable. Um... Page 12 is about half way complete. Have to finish the lank them and st w ith the screentones... I wonder if anyone is actually looking at these things? I hope so! Blackfire and Gunsmoke Ch. 11 is in the works to go up in a week or two (I hope... *beggin Susan-chan for more! Hee hee!) Let's see.... | June 13, 2004 Look what I can do! Screentones!! Hee hee... Well, okay, so it's nothing new for anyone who's been doing manga for awhile, but I'm just learning okay! Milly x Vash Doujin page 10 Just getting this up tonight to show everyone - and lookie I've actually typed out the words for ya'll. I'm slowly working at getting them all typed. Fixed up page 2 so far - half way through page 3 but I kind of backed myself in a corner when I first started these things. See, I copied a few panels for the first two from Nightow originally to get a feel for page set-up, and of course everything is in Japanese - so the bubbles are tall versus wide. So now I'm trying to back away from that and make them "English" friendly. This most recent one is mostly like that - but you'll tell where I originally wrote them out up and down. I still "think" in the Japanese style - thus the panels will continue to read from the right to the left and then down... If you're used to reading manga it will come easy for you thankfully. I haven't had any complaints yet! Oh! So many hits today! My apologies everyone who tried to look at this page today and found the usage for the hour was up - for future reference, if you want to look at any of Susan or Mabel's works, save the links for those pages into your favorites - they're on a different page so you won't get the same errors. I'm trying to spread out the ones that get the most hits to other pages so that you don't have to worry about the usage... *sighs* I might end up having to pay for my website just so that everyone can look at it when they want to!! I was working on a new drawing to go up but had a few problems and haven't been able to finish it. Did anyone notice I didn't get those pictures up yesterday but today... Heh heh - didn't think so... *looking shifty* Psst.... Don't tell anyone. Anyway *grins* I have the honor of announcing this site has now passed the 3,000 hits point!! YAY!! Thank you thank you thank you everyone! This is such an honor! You like me, you really like me!! *nah...* You like Trigun right? That's what you're here for right? Okay then! So am I! And here a year ago today I said to myself "self, don't go overboard and start a Trigun website..." Then later I said, okay, so don't write fanfiction... Heh heh - so much for that! So fun. And now I'm getting into working on my own doujinshi. For all of you non-Japanese speakers, a doujinshi is a "self-published manga" - usually they are in the form of fan-comics, occasionally they're original stuff, other times they're webcomics. In this case, it's going to be a webcomic for now. I have a cover page I'm working on for when I get about 30 pages drawn... Take it all to Kinkos and make me a book. When and if this hits 30 pages I'll let everyone know if I'll sell it with the fancy colored cover (that I won't be putting online... *grins evilly*) And don't worry if I do that I promise not to rip anyone off, I'm not like that. | May 21, 2004 Finally got off my duff tonight and have gotten Chapter 8 up!! Link to Ch. 8 So stop on in and read about Vash's radical transformation! Very cool. No news yet if anyone's finding Max #1 in the stores yet - haven't found a copy for me! Won't get the pictures from the convention until tomorrow so you have that to look forward to. Chapter 9 is in the wings, just needs a final edit before I'll get that up for Susan as well. Things are getting really good now!! I know I've been kind of slacking on the Trigun news department, but things have actually been pretty slow. No word on Trigun #10 being printed and I've been watching for that since it will have Wolfwood's death in it most likely (sniff sniff - Wolfie will still live on in our hearts!!) I've also heard that Dark Horse has gotten rights to a total of I belive 9 books with three more pending - those unpublished in Japan as of yet for a grand total of 12. Kind of exciting. In other Nightow news - watch the video store for the upcoming "Gungrave" anime. DVD #1 is set to be released July 9th I believe from Geneon (Pioneer) - I've only seen the dubbed version so far but it's really excellent - and for once it doesn't have Crispin Freeman doing the man character! Sorry Crispin... I'm eager for new voices - sure I like Wolf's Rain's dub, but it still has everyone from Spike to Vash to Tsukasa - and it's hard seeing the characters and getting used to voices you've associated with other characters. But get if you see Gungrave - GET IT. If you like Trigun you'll LOVE it too. Come on, it was created by Nightow so it would have to be! I'm just wondering if he finishes Trigun if he'll start a manga for Gungrave... Good stuff!!

| May 19, 2004 So sorry that it's taken me so long to get Mabel's two newest up! Hadn't even realized they were sitting so patiently waiting to get up! So two more new ones - "Waking You" and "Cooking with Milly". Got to see all of these at the convention this weekend - thank you so much for bringing them Mabel! They're just as awesome in real life as on the computer! So very cool. I've got one more new chapter for Blackfire & Gunsmoke to go up - going to work on that in a little bit too. The pictures I took this last weekend will probably be up next weekend - gotta wait for them to get developed. If you can't wait, check out Cosplay.com and look for Eurobeat King's photos. There are two of me up there somewhere... Found them but I can't give you numbers - somwhere in the 600's though. In other news... Trigun Maximum #1 was supposed to be released today. | May 17, 2004 - ACEN 2004 Just got back from the convention last night! Wow! So much Trigun stuff that I think I literally burned a hole in that wallet... Um, yeah. I've become "full-fledged" when it comes to anything paper that's been printed for Trigun "officially" and some of it unofficially too! Gotta love conventions! And there were so many characters that my head was spinning! Luckily, besides myself there were only two Millys - and only one with a gun and she only wore her costume about half of Friday. I never saw the other one but in pictures at "A Fan's View" and maybe she'll show up eventually at Cosplay.com - on Eurobeat King's area. I know he took my picture too but I haven't found that one yet either. I'll probably be getting a run-down on my trip to Anime Central sometime this week - have one picture of me so far to show you until I get mine developed, only problem with not having a digital camera!! I have so many pictures to show you all!! Only managed to get a few pictures of people other then the Trigun characters (problem with only one roll of film) - but heck, who needs other characters?? Especially when you have 12 Vashs, another dozen Wolfwoods - and strangely enough only a few Meryls (one being male...another blond - but I had fun with her, we did some posing in the dealer's room and she gave me her card - what a great idea!!) I was glomped dozens of times - hugged by all sorts of people - and even had a Vash hitting on me - heh heh - reeled in by the womanizer!! I've gotta append one more thing - GRRRR stupid Dark Horse! Had to translate "Tongari" into "Spikey!" Come on - we all know that "Needle noggin" sounds better then "Spikey!" Darn it.... On a brighter note, they've got rights to 12 Trigun Maximums. YES - 12. They haven't even printed 10 in Japan yet! How exciting! Now we know what the series is leading up to! Whoo hoo! Gives me jitters just thinking about it! If you're excited to see the Vash in his Maximum yumminess - in English, buy the "Anime Insider" for May, there are about 6 or was that 8 pages of Maximum #1 - that's how I found out about spikey - but otherwise what I've seen of the translation looks okay... There's still alot there that I'm disappointed in *sniff sniff* pity Trigun couldn't have been picked up by someone who actually was a FAN!!Today's additions: Chapter 6 & 7 of "Blackfire and Gunsmoke" since I'll be gone next weekend! Just had to stop out and pick up some pudding, film, you know, the essentials for a convention. *grin* Also just put up the newest drawing I did this morning. "White Dark Vash" - he looks like of like Balmung from .Hack//Sign. But you don't see a white haired, white coated Vash very often!! Hee hee, what Rem would say, "They're angels." | May 5, 2004 Happy Cinco de Mayo! (I hope I spelled that right...) Have you ever had one of those weeks where you couldn't get anything done because you kept getting new ideas that you did first? Well, that's my week. Just getting up three more of Mabel's drawings, and a new one from Susan - ooooh... I'm so glad to have such talented friends! These things just give me the chills everytime I see them! I've also got to get up chapters 6&7 from "B&G" those I hope to get up later today - Susan's been very busy! 8 and 9 are already in the works! The rest of my week has been taken up with making a stungun - ah yes, the technical difficulties that come with making something that should be in metal with cardboard and styrofoam... Let me tell you! (I really won't, sure you can guess.) Anyway, I've also been plugging along diligently on my manga - four pages now, maybe I'll get that up too... Trying to fill the space before the MillyxVash story I've got two chapters written so far... | May 1, 2004 Finally getting part 6 of the Milly & Meryl AU - "Glass Globes" - sorry it's taken me so long, I've been sitting on it a week now. Just couldn't find the time to write the page - takes a good hour normally. Still planning on getting my doujin up - soon... I have about 3 pages so far, but the story is only just beginning. I can only draw about a page a day - four to five hours if I'm copying, longer when it's all original... Sheesh - how do these manga-kas do it? And I haven't even gotten into screentones yet! | April 26, 2004 Sorry it's been awhile folks! Been so busy writing new stories and drawing new pictures that I haven't been able to update for awhile! Well, today's updates include one new one from Mabel from her story "Edge" - I really love this newest drawing because Vash has a black coat - it's sexy! Also put up three more from Susan! YES! All drawings from B&G, they're so colorful and alive! And they feature "Dark Vash" who will make his appearance in the story soon - I'm hoping!! ^_^ Soon I'll have Milly/Meryl AU number 6 up called "Glass Globes" so if you've been following the series you'll love this one! I've gotten all good reviews so far from my editors! I had a lot of fun with it! Also coming soon is a MillyxVash online doujin - drawn by yours truly. I've drawn it in traditional Japanese style, right to left, but in English for those of who can't read Japanese! The first few panels are mainly copywork from Nightow with a few original drawings thrown in - the wording is changed to fit the story I'm telling. Just keep an eye out for it and if you like it, let me know, I'm trying to play it fairly seriously and give a "real" reason for Vash to like Milly - not just throw them together! Keep an eye out for more chapters of B&G as well - more pictures from Susan - and more from Mabel as she illustrates more chapters from "Edge".

| April 18, 2004 We have officially passed the anniversary for when Trigun first aired on Cartoon Network - April 16th (three days later) was the official day when a monster was created - ME! ^_^ And what do you know? Trigun is back on AS on Saturday nights! YEAH! I've got a few new things to celebrate the occasion - first off, two new pieces by Mabel, one new one by Susan (I'm missing one, too lazy to grab it out of the frame on my wall to scan it though!) Also have two new chapters to B&G to put up... Ch. 4 & 5 are ready... But I'm sleepy! Been up too long tonight! Gonna have to wait until Tuesday for them. | April 13, 2004 It was just brought to my attention that some people think I'm a guy because of my nickname!! Heh heh. My name full name is Richelle, but because no one can pronounce it correctly my nickname is Ricki! I'm a girl folks!! Now that I got that out of my system... Just got two new drawings up from Mabel. Gonna get up the newest chapter to the Milly AU "Gunsmoke & Feathers" called "Lost Childhood" sometime today. It's a BIG one. I'm talking like, B&G Ch. 2 kind of big... no, bigger. I wanted to get it on one page but now I've found I'll have to split it up... Also have Ch. 4 to get up of B&G - I think Susan's given me permission to get it up... How's everyone liking it so far? Since no one bothers to use my guestbook, maybe I can change it around so that people can write reviews... I'd love to put this up on FF.net but, then again - *it's mine all mine*!! | April 7, 2004 Yehaa! Two new chapters for Blackfire & Gunsmoke! Hope you were all ready for the big meeting between Rinnah and "the crew" because your wait is over! (Of course I've been waiting to put this story up since January... so it's worth the wait!) And for those Milly and Wolfwood fans ( ^_^ Catherine...) make sure you check out Chapter 3 - but don't skip, it's important to read every word!! Heh heh, I love having my own website, I can say whatever I want and get away with it! But it's truth, Susan and I have been having so much fun with this story it's been hard to let the "baby" out of the nest!! Still no word from deleria as to whether she'll declare this sequal "official" yet - probably won't know until it's all finished... But ah well, we'll change if we need to - but don't worry, I'll warn you all if changes occur, I promise! If you all hadn't noticed I've made individual pages for both Mabel and Susan now, added new pics (Susan's got about two to go up soon and Mabel, one in honor of Wolfwood - although she already knew...) and I've got dozens that will go up eventually (you know, when I have to get a third website to hold all of this stuff!!) | April 4, 2004 Just a short update tonight, this time change has got me all messed up! I just placed up a link to my newest short story called "Forgiven" basically it's my take on what happens after Vash brings Knives home in the anime. I borrowed from the manga too, this is most unlike me, because in the manga I don't see Vash being able to stop Knives... Just me. Anyway, in a day or two I'll have Chapter 2 of "Blackfire and Gunsmoke" up, as well as a new picture by Mabel - I'm very excited!! Unfortunately I'm also very tired - spent all night (I mean ALL night) writing "Forgiven" and with the time change... ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz. On second thought - I felt kind of inspired to move some things around so now Mabel has her own page here: Mabel's Fan-tastic Art and her newest is up! In case Mabel or any of her friends cruise through here my apologies for changing this so suddenly but I wanted to make sure I had enough room for all of her stuff and this was the best way to do it! | March 27, 2004 Now you can read Chapter 1 of "Blackfire & Gunsmoke!" If you haven't read Ch. 0 yet take the time to read both - it's all leading up to Rinnah first meeting Vash! It's really exciting but you'll have to read all of it otherwise you won't know what's going on!! I'm really proud to be able to host this story - no one else has it right now heh heh heh!! Susan-chan is really on a roll! The continuing adventures of "Gunsmoke & Feathers" is in development right now. If you like "super-power Milly" then keep checking back! We're also going to be getting some Rinnah art soon as well. Susan's been busy and I have a few sketches I want to get up too. Anyone watching WHR? Only a few more episodes left! I've also really been into "Last Exile" recently. If anyone has liked it, see if you can draw the parallels between Lord Dio and some of the characters in B&G Chapter 0. I think if the plants were to have become their own race they'd be a lot like the Guild. Susan's never seen the series but I'm so surprised at how close she's gotten their attitude - all high and mighty! I'm secretly wishing that she'll write a story about Rinnah's past... | March 15, 2004 Another quickie: Today is the beginning of a whole new era of Trigun Fanfiction.... Today is the day that you get to read the introduction to "Blackfire & Gunsmoke!" The brand-newest story by Susan (Dwellin)! For now it is our "unofficial continuation" to "Double Helix" by Deleria. We haven't exactly gotten her approval for it yet... So it might turn out to be just another Alternate Reality story - this first chapter introduces Rinnah but I hope you'll read it even though at first it has very little mention to our favorite Trigun characters. Just bear with us! We'll be getting up Chapter 1 by next week sometime and you'll just love how Rinnah and Vash get along - they're hilarious!!! If you refuse to read the Intro... | March 9, 2004 Yikes! So many new things I'm putting up here I'm running out of space quickly! Mabel's sent a new picture Missing You with Wolfwood and Milly - gotta love that! I've put a new one up of Meryl... She's kind of an elusive one to draw don't you think? Oh and two brand new ones from Susan-chan! ^_^ The background on these - the first one is Knives and Meryl from the story "Two Plants and a Girl" (Thunk) that I keep raving about - before she went and changed it... And the second is from the new story she's working on "Blackfire and Gunsmoke" which I'm hoping the first chapter to will be up within the week... *begging Susan please please can I put it up yet!* That story is our personal continuation to "Double Helix" (Deleria) staring a new character Rinnah Blackfire... A plant that was born dead.... Oooh - makes you want to read it doesn't it?? Heh, I thought so! And good news for any fans of our AU... YES, story 5 is in the works! Will Milly and Meryl ever find out where they really came from? Will Milly use her awesome superpowers again? Heh heh heh - wait and find out! Oh and I have a few shameless plugs for some other stories I'm reading! "Simplicity" - this is another Alternate Universe... Done up right Milly-style! March 1, 2004 I'm getting the frikkin' shivers here!!!! Okay - here's the thing, and the reason I'm using language I don't normally use.... See this picture? Yes, this Vash. He's the NEWEST Vash to come out from Young King Ours - it's April's cover. His hair is really black now... I swear I've never seen this picture before about 5 minutes ago (12:07am/March 2 now, Eastern Daylight) but one of the pictures I drew about two weeks ago has nearly as much black hair as this official Vash by Nightow. I couldn't tell you where I came up with it (except from descriptions from an old fanfiction) but he kind of drew himself so to speak and the moment I started painting his hair black it freaked me out. He still does! But what freaks me out even more is that I seem to have been drawing from that "brainwave" pool and got it from Nightow... If you believe in things like that, it's just plain creepy!! Oh yeah - here's the link to the one I drew.... "Born in the Black" - Vash He's actually based on the story that Susan and I am writing. I didn't exactly like how the outfit turned out but his face... It's his face, you be the judge. Been working on a doujinshi of my own recently - just a short little skit between Milly and Vash. Tried to scan it in for everyone but the pencil was too light to scan, I'll have to ink it and try again. It's not wonderful but I thought, ah, what the heck!! Hee hee! Also found out tonight when our Trigun Maximum #1 is coming out - May 19... Going to be a long time! Oh well, believe me it's worth the wait because it's the Eriks part!! And you get to see Milly and Meryl in a whole new light - Girls Bravo!!! While you're waiting check out all the great new anime - Witch Hunter Robin for one, and yeah, if you're a downloader check out Full Metal Alchemist (you probably already have) it's REALLY excellent! We're almost done with February - leap leap leap year! Marti Gras is on and time for Fat Tuesday... And Lent - hmmmm.... Wonder what I'll give up this year? Caffiene was a doozy last year!! Not much new to report on Trigun - for some reason Nightow didn't make March's deadline for Young King Ours, so the next book might be a bit later coming out, don't know yet, have to wait until March to find out I guess! In other news I'm starting to post some of my stories on Fanfiction.net. This is basically just a way that I can use more space for Susan's stories on this site. | February 3, 2004 Hiya! Today's new features include a smaller link to the dark Vash on the main page on my fan art page - as well as a new drawing of Knives. I think this one looks a lot better than the old one I had - check it out! There will probably be more coming in the near future - Knives has become the main topic of discussion in many fanfiction sites as of late. There are a few drawings by Susan I'll try to get up as well today if I have the chance. Most of them are based on deleria's (Sugoiweb) story called "Double Helix" and I'll also add one from "Two Plants and a Girl" (by Thunk) that I drew for her with Milly and Vash. Seriously, everyone has their minds on Knives recently! And usually he is paired up with Meryl! It's an interesting little pairing and the stories are intriguing. Susan is working on a story that picks up where "Double Helix" left off (it's still in early stages so we haven't told deleria yet, if she doesn't like it we'll probably revamp it to post it here). What we're trying to do with the story is explain where Dark Vash came from. I really don't have a clue, even searching through the Japanese websites I haven't found an answer (if anyone knows please email me!!! | January 28, 2004 Kon ban wa!!! How is everyone doing tonight? I've got two new pieces of news today. First off - check out the links on the main page, "Ryoko's Fanfiction" has a couple of terrific Trigun fics - check out "Rain" first, it's terrific. And check out the other one as well, though be careful - it's not for everyone. The other link you need to check out is Fire Dragon. I picked up her TRIGUN Fanbook #017 and jotted her an email yesterday and she wrote me back! It's too cool, she even took the time to write me back in English, even though I was no good at my attempt at Japanese! The next piece of news is the arrival of "Dark Vash" to the site. I worked on him the last few days and finally was able to put him up online. The colors turned out to fit perfectly with my color scheme - except that I just changed it the other day so I might have to change it back. He'll probably stay around through February. I'm not really sure the story behind him. It's a Japanese thing as far as I can tell, that's where most of the artwork I've found resides - all I know are his pictures. So I thought I'd try one on my own and he came out just delicious!!! Keep checking back. Susan and I are getting some really great stories together, as well as a few new artwork pieces. I have one picture on Thunk's webpage - her fanfiction "Two Plants and a Girl" is a real inspiration - and if you like Knives you'll love it!  January 26, 2004I'm back!!!! I had just the most wonderful time at the Ohayocon this weekend! For my first convention it was just great! I've stolen the only picture of me that made it up on A Fan's View... Unfortunately it's just my back! That's ME Milly Thompson! There's a great story behind this picture... No, not the photographer! It was Friday afternoon about 2 o'clock and I'd just gotten to the convention. Somehow I managed to get in costume in time to find Vash (ponytailed in the picture) and got him to pose with me for a picture, then turned around and found Wolfwood and a drunken Vash (with tie around his head and all!) to also get a shot with - that's when this photo was taken. Chii (from Chobits) and her friend Robin (from Witch Hunter Robin) happened by and I grabbed them to take my picture - that's what's going on right here. I can't wait until I have my film developed in order to see if the photographer got into my picture! I spent my entire fund on Trigun stuff while I was there! Picked up all of the capsule figures, I just love the busts, they're all based on the manga. Also picked up the "repaint" black Vash - I'm going to try to track down a drawing of Dark Vash for this site, or maybe I'll do one on my own - it's a Japanese spin on Vash I just love, but I respect their rights as artists not to post them here. Anyway, on top of that I picked up Trigun playing cards as well as 4 doujin mangas. One is of the artist from the "Fire Dragon" website linked on my main page. She's terrific - as long as you don't mind a bit of WolfwoodxVash... Also got a Kuroneko keychain to go with my Milly one (she went everywhere with me this weekend!) I just wish I could show you all the artwork in some of these mangas... If you ever go to a con, try to pick up "Gun Slingers" - it has Vash from Maximum on the cover with Wolfwood - I think it's Fan comic #17. It's just beautiful. Once I get my con photos I'll make a page and give an indepth description of just what craziness went on! | January 20, 2004 Last entry before Ohayocon. "Lifeline secure. Wind favorable. The plan is perfect. I've got the guts!" --Vash Yeah!!! I'm so excited! I've never been to an anime convention before. It will really be fun. I hope anyway! Last time I went to a convention - it was Origins (gaming) and my friends had hyped it so much that I thought we'd have fun but when we got there it was a grand let-down since all of the tournaments we wanted in were cancelled.... Anyway, so let's hope this one lives up to the hype! Newest thing online tonight! Adding yet another colored picture! This one was inspired by my story, yet inspired my story (confused?) so if you read "Free Like Them" it was based on the epilogue. Oh yes! I added another of Susan's drawings! First off, if you've been checking out A Little Lightbulb in Your Soul manga translations you'll be pleased to know that she now has a couple from the latest Young King Ours - will be the chapters in Trigun Maximum #10. | January 11, 2004 Okay... For the longest time I refused to write Trigun fanfiction. It came from the years I spent writing "Highlander" fanfiction. (If you've never heard of Highlander... Been under a rock? *hee hee* It was a series about immortals chopping each other's heads off... "I am Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod..." Ring a bell?) Anyway, after 36 stories ranging from 5 pages to 40 pages long (10 font, single spaced)... Some of which are still online if you're interested... I didn't think I'd ever get obessed over another series ever again. So when I started this website I vowed never to have fanfiction on here. Not my fanfiction anyway - and at the time I didn't know anyone who was still writing about Trigun... But then I happened to meet Susan who was working on this idea about Trigun. She had jotted these notes in order to understand the series that had been taken off the air about half-way through. When I met her she had finally seen the rest of it but thought I'd get a kick out of what she'd written. At least for a laugh. But I had more to say then she'd expected! A LOT more! I just LOVED it. In fact, I'm hoping she'll write more (please Susan please!!!) but in the meantime as she finished "And Feathers All Around" I wondered what was going on with Wolfwood and Milly while Vash was out saving Meryl... And started to write. Yes. ME, the girl who promised not to write any more fanfiction... And here you have it - "Crossroads". Although, promise me that if you read it you'll go back and read Susan's stuff because she's the one who inspired me to write! Just a note: Thanks Susan!  January 9, 2004Yeah! More of Susan's Trigun Fanfiction! Next is "And Feather's All Around!" All of her stuff has been leading up to this story so please check it out! There's one more after this that I have to get up that I collaborated on (though if you ask Susan she'll say I did it myself) but I couldn't have done it without her help! I'm also trying to convince her to let me post some of her artwork as well. She has lots of Meryl & Vash drawings I'd like to show off! Also new to the site are a few new really interesting Vash drawings, black & white as well as a few more color, some I've just colored of old black and whites so be sure to click on everything!! Here's one now, inspired by a sketch in the Trigun Art Book, if you have it I'm sure you'll spot which one. Unfortunately it's not quite right, but I like it anyway, really has a good feel to him. I sure did, got alot of neat new anime and I've met a lot of new Trigun fans and read a lot of great new Fanfiction - including a new story by Susan! If you've read a lot of bad fanfiction - stop reading that stuff! Read "Meeting Mom" followed by "Milly to the Rescue"! Susan takes the Trigun world to a whole new place where new surprises await you! She's got two more stories in the wings so keep watching the site because I'll be getting them up this month!
